Played the pokies for a while, the casino was clean and the security made sure we checked in with SA QR codes. Social distancing was being done by all staff and patrons. The bar staff were very efficient and the time was enjoyable. recommended for a relaxing time.

What an absolute waste of time. Saturday night and we tried the new Sol cocktail Bar on level 9. Don’t bother. 20 minute wait as they were busy! No not really. Then the wrong cocktails were delivered. Another 15 minute shift air and then 2 were forgotten all up. Don’t bother with this place.

11am and not to long que but the doorman kept letting members in and those tourists wishing you o spend money were left to wait and feel unwelcome. Then a power happy covid Marshall fluffed around telling visitors to stand on the marks. Very bad experience. Not worth the wait for the pathetic casino it is. I can see why it is not on the tourist adverts being played on Queensland tv

We had booked one of the new dining experiences and were all excited about a special birthday night event. We had an 8pm reservation and as per email had arranged for pre dinner drinks at the Chandelier Bar. The email never asked us to pre register or explain sign up, or how long this would take ! If only we were able to enter, due to an appalling entrance experience, of having to become members, with a line NOT Moving, after 20 minutes the pompous doorman explained , they had a whole 3 people signing up members! What did we expect After 5 minutes I had to politely ask him to stop talking, we walked out and thankfully the lovely staff at Sean's Kitchen accommodated us for drinks at their bar. Would I even try to enter sky city again,? NOT likely.

Lovely looking, with history. Small, but good. We had a few drinks, which were on the pricey side, considering the amount of money turned over. We had a newby who wanted to learn blackjack. I asked one of the important looking blokes, who said he would see what he could do about opening a $5 blackjack. Others opened were $20 and $50. Too much for a newby. Anyway, they eventually did, and he made his way over to us, and advised us to sit at the table, to ensure our places. Covid dictated that only 3 players could be at a table. You also have to sit down to drink. I watched while the others played. Angelo, the bloke who organised the table for us was so friendly, and kind in assisting our newby. We had two croupiers, and he second one, Red, was amazing too. Patient, and friendly. After around 2 hours of playing, and two out of three losing their money we headed off. Thanks again guys. You made this afternoon fun with your friendliness and patience. Great staff Casino, look after them.
