Great communicators - very happy to work with us to custom design our two days of touring to the wineries we wanted to visit. Phil arrived promptly on both days, very attentive and has great knowledge of wine, not only in the South Australian region but throughout the world. No request was too much trouble. This company is highly recommended and great value for the high quality service and transportation.

My wife and I, on a honeymoon road-trip from Melbourne, booked a private Barossa Tour for the day. Our driver was John and he took us to 5 wineries: Z Wines, Ballycroft, Delluva, Ubertas and Liebichwein. All 5 wineries were fantastic. We got personal tastings with the winemakers/owners and tasted some great wine. John was brilliant. He was very warm and informative and made the day perfect for us. I couldn't recommend John and this day tour highly enough; especially for couples.

Booked our SA visit last minute and selected the wine tour with Getaway SA from reviews. The tour totally met our expectations and John our guide/driver made the day interesting & fun. The highlight of the trip were visits to a couple of boutique wineries which are now amongst our favourites! Excellent value for money with lunch included - would highly recommend 👍

Just because you can keep an administration fee during a state lockdown during a global pandemic, doesn’t mean you should. We’ve already tried to reschedule this accommodation once and both times had state lockdown cancel it for us. Would be a tad more ethical if some of this fee was passed on to the businesses actually missing out on our booking. The cherry on the cake is day one of lockdown these guys post on social media claiming their “give a damn” batteries have run out and referring to customers as “stupid people”. I always try to sort out issues like this privately but these people have no empathy. Go through booking.com instead, they give you 100% refund. Or pretty much anyone else I've heard of.

My fiancée and I know nothing about Adelaide we came here to see the Barossa and love wine..... we saw this trip on an advertisement and booked up. This has been the best trip we have ever done! Joe our tour guide was absolutely amazing! He was so informative, funny and so down to earth we recommend him to everyone! Over all a very enjoyable experience.

We had a great day on this tour. A great introduction to the different wine traditions of the Barossa and Eden valleys.
Joe, our guide, picked us up at our accommodation in Gawler. He wisely interspersed the wineries with visits to other places. It is a good idea to have a hearty breakfast, and another one before leaving the house!
We visited four wineries in all, including lunch at one of them, and tasted many of the Barossa classics such as Shiraz; also a number of fortified wines.
Joe was a great and knowledgeable guide, and we can certainly recommend this tour. Our only suggestion would be to fit some kind of PA in the bus; it can be difficult to hear the commentary above the engine and road noise.

We had the most amazing tour, if you are lucky enough to get Leanne as your guide then you are in for a treat. She picked us up at 1860 Wine Country Cottages which was out of the way for her but no complaints, she gave us the most incredible history of the place, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks Peter, Enzo, Sharyn & Toni.

We were a group of 8 from NZ visiting Adelaide and its countryside on our way back from our trip up the Murray River. Gavin was our guide who picked us up from Madden, he was very knowledgeable & explained to us about all sorts of interesting facts as we travelled from the Murray River to Adelaide via the Barossa Valley. We visited three unique & different wineries all of which had awesome stories with delicious wines too of course. The next day we were collected from our hotel & enjoyed a tour through the Adelaide hills to Hahndorf Hills Winery where they talked about which wine matched each chocolate. Our lunch was at a local German Pub ,at Hahndorf, a quaint little village. At the end of our day Gavin dropped us at the seaside suburb of Glenelg to explore, such a beautiful spot with very friendly people.

From the moment we where picked up from our hotel to the moment we where dropped off we where made to feel comfortable and Like old friends with our driver Lis. She was knowledgeable as well as thoughtful in the way she catered the day around our particular groups taste in wines. The vineyards we visited where smaller family run wineries and thoroughly enjoyed the history told behind them. Couldn't recommend tour barossa enough great experience.

Yes absolutely depending on location there may be a slight surcharge but we offer a door to door service for our guests to enjoy the day.
