Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It was an amazing afternoon. Daniel really knows his stuff and took the time to not only explain but also heaps of practice. I learnt so much and it had inspired me to learn more. Thanks for organising at such short notice.

I am an amateur photographer with limited knowledge, but Daniel was more than helpful with the tips, tricks and settings, going so far as to add a little extra time for astral photography pointers at the end.

It was a wonderful experience in learning not only photography skills but the instructor took the time to help everyone understand and optimise the use of their cameras.

I have a little photography knowlege and Sam went through the basics.
I found it very useful and the practicals were brilliantly done to demonstrate a point.

Although I am already an advanced photographer, from my skill level perspective, it was a great way to introduce beginners to the basics of Photography in a nice outdoor environment. The presenter explained everything in a clear and understandable way and also took a few moments here and there to personally assist individuals with using their cameras and camera settings. It was also enjoyable walking around from one place to another to explore and learn how certain elements of photography or camera settings work. As a more advanced photographer I would certainly recommend this tour for beginners who would like a starting point to understanding photography.

Sam (presenter) was very knowledgeable and frequently reassured us that our cameras were not as involved as we all feared. Good area to work with (Convention Centre, North Tce, Riverbank & Adelaide Oval.). Interesting exercises done. Good links provided where “notes” could be found (afterwards via email),as there were no printed handouts given. Everybody has a different camera so I can see why printed info appropriate to all could prove a challenge.

Great way to explore Adelaide and learn more about photography. Sam made sure that he found out what my experience level was and what I was wanting to get out of the evening. He managed to show me features of my camera I didn't know about and also really simple techniques to get some great photos. He was also very willing to talk about his experience as a photographer and while the tour was for 3 hours he never rushed us and did not seem to be concerned if the tour went a little longer. Highly recommend this tour!

I booked the night tour, and it was more than I could have hoped for. Sam met me precisely on time, and from the moment we met to the moment we parted, he was fantastic. He talked not only about the mechanics of photography, but also about artistic vision, and about the fact that we should stop to think about the what and the why, and not just the how. Putting that into play made for some great photos that night, as well as giving me some ideas to work on in the coming days.

I'd take the day tour next trip, time permitting.

This day/night voucher was a gift to me as I love photography but can't get my camera off the auto setting......After the tour was postponed several times due to weather and tutor sickness I was starting to think it wasn't meant to be! However it was certainly worth the wait. Sam is obviously a very talented photographer and passes on creative tips as well as the theory of getting the best out of your camera. He finds out what each person is looking for and helps everyone. The night session was particularly inspiring - who knew such stunning photos were so easy to take....spending the time with Sam was like wandering around with a very knowledgable friend!!

I am a 72 yr old beginner photographer with a new camera. Not the flashest camera in the world, but I wanted to see how to use it. Chloe made the experience so worthwhile. I would recommend this beginner course to all.
