Woodhouse Adventure Park is an experience-based outdoor adventure and group accommodation destination in Piccadilly in the Adelaide Hills (South Australia). Woodhouse is open every day of the year and is located just 25 minutes from Adelaide city centre. Explore 54 hectares of gumtree-studded countryside, with unlimited use of awesome onsite activities. Use of gas BBQs, campfire circles (seasonal), toilet and shower facilities is also included your Day Activity Pass, Camping and Accommodation fee.

We booked a child's birthday party, which was good, and they provided a party host to guide the children through the activities. I do not mind paying the amount for the children. What I objected to was the cost of each adult to attend. Each child being $32 each. Then each adult to attend was an additional $16 each - for 2 hours!! This additional cost made it a very expensive party and NOT worth the money.

Oh, so sorry to hear this Kellie - we normally receive such great feedback about birthday parties at Woodhouse! And also about affordability when compared with many other types of activity-based parties. We have a range of packages starting at $16 per person for unlimited self-led access to all our activities from 9am to 5pm ... through to packages with an Activity Facilitator leading the activities, or even add-ons like outdoor laser skirmish and camping. Some of the packages include free entry for a couple of supervising adults but yes otherwise we have a flat site entry fee for additional parents who are also welcome to participate and get involved in the activities and use the facilities for a whole day (9am to 5pm), not just the duration of the party. With a 54-hectare adventure site we don't have a 'viewing' area as such where non-participating people can sit and watch. Thanks for the feedback though, we'll take it into consideration when reviewing pricing and the communication of pricing structure. As a not-for-profit organisation passionate about youth development, we aim to keep pricing affordable and competitive. For kids' parties the hosts usually meet guests near our reception or top carpark near the entrance so parents who are just dropping off or collecting do not need to pay the entry fee. Please look out for the email from us as we’d like to rectify things with you.

A big group of us camped in a fantastic secret spot which we had all to ourselves, for my daughters 10th birthday over the long weekend! It was EPIC! Even the lead up was excellent, we had FANTASTIC communication via the staff, which made our organising so easy and fun!! Definitely be going back and doing it all again Big thumbs up👍

We rented 2 cabins and had a lot of fun. The cabins were clean and comfortable. We also loved building campfires in the provided drums and toasting marshmallows. The activities were great and the kids ( aged 8,8 & 9) had a blast. If the kids do all of the obstacles on the course there are a few where they get wet so take a change of shoes and clothes. Also they will need enclosed shoes for most of activities. As we stayed overnight all the activities were included but it would be a fun day trip. We would all highly recommend it!

Campsite was large and suited our needs. Basic facilities, large shed/dining area, beautiful camping and outdoor space complete with koalas and possums. All the activities on offer were fantastic. Challenge hill, maze, bouldering and disc golf were definitely what makes a stay here unique and entertaining. (Take a towel in case you fall in the river crossing)
We stayed with a large youth group at Brownsea site and they all wanted to stay longer.

Such a great outdoor area! There are numerous secluded spaces to stop and listen to the creek, birds, insects and rustling of gum leaves. Woodhouse is just magical for individual reflection. You also have the option to be in amongst the hustle and bustle of the activities or if you're wanting somewhere quiet to have lunch, there's plenty of space to choose from.

Woodhouse is one of those unique places where you can go every weekend and see something new, and try something different! One of my favourite places to go with friends and family, with such a range of activities for young and old! The staff are super helpful and always go out of the way to make your adventure even better! Connecting with nature is easy - whether you're there for the day or a staycation - I can't recommend it highly enough!

I love coming here with my family and enjoying all of the activities. The chalets are the perfect stay-cation spot when you want to get away but don't want to do without the creature comforts. The staff are so friendly and we always leave with huge smiles on our faces!

I brought my Scout Group to Woodhouse for an adventure day out the other weekend, and the kids had the best time! There was plenty of space for them to run around and have some good old fashioned outdoor fun, plus we went on the tube slides, which were a real highlight. The kids were really keen to try out challenge hill and the bouldering wall too, so we’ll be coming back soon.

We had our wedding here, it is a fantastic unique venue, the staff were super helpful on the lead up to the big day! Em is fantastic with recommendations.
Access to all the fun activities for the weekend were also an amazing adventure for our guests children, with plenty of outdoor fun for them!
