Adelaide Bike Hire provides premium hire bikes, delivered to the customers accommodation. The fleet includes performance carbon road bikes, premium flat handlebar bikes, and quality e-bikes. This boutique business aims to provide a unique hassle free cycling experience. From free delivery through to a friendly discussion highlighting the incredible riding options in Adelaide. They can even provide those optional extras such as water bottles, gels, bars, chamois cream and sunscreen etc. Adelaide is a world class cycling destination and has a wide range of cycling regions. This includes the Adelaide Hills, our long flat coastline, McLaren Vale & Barossa Valley wine regions, as well as a fantastic week of riding at the Tour Down Under. Bike hire includes free delivery direct to your Adelaide accommodation, a minimum of two day bike hire, choice of pedals, bike helmet, bottle cages, tool kit, pump, map and great local riding advice.

Couldn't be easier.

I hired a BMC road bike and Martin arrived on time with a perfectly tuned bike adjusted to fit, and happily accommodated my drop off timing. The week on the bike was a reminder of just how much fun it is to ride through the Adelaide hills. I highly recommend Adelaide Bike Hire.

The best bike hire experience - 6* out of 5

Martin provides excellent bikes with excellent service. It is an absolute pleasure to ride a good bike and this is often hard to do when away from home. At Adelaide Bike Hire, however, everything was great. I hired a BMC carbon road bike in brand new condition, delivered to our door, picked up upon our return two days later, and supplied with all needed accessories. My friends and family hired like-new high quality hybrids and one hired a similar condition e-bike. You can not do better than this if you want a bike that you deserve to ride. Martin deserves 6 star review.

Adelaide hills experience

As an avid cyclist away from home what better way to really experience whats on offer here than to go for a ride in the surrounding countryside.
Adelaide bike hire made this experience a delight with a competent and professional service. From the quality of the equipment, personal service and excellent road side support. Martin provided us with the best service you could wish for, setting up the bike to our specifications, delivering and collecting from our accommodation and expedient roadside assistance when things when wrong, ensuring we didn’t miss a second of the stunning experience we had paid for. Thank you Martin for all your help and assistance making it an absolute pleasure to ride the Adelaide hills. Two days riding, 90 and 70 miles covered and over 12000ft of ascent including Mount Lofty and The Corkscrew achieved. Very happy but sore.

Road bike hire

Can highly recommend Adelaide Bike Hire, the owner Martin provides a very prompt service with quick text responses, delivery and pick up of bike to your accomodation, map, helpful hints re routes etc, and can also supply chamois cream, sunscreen at cost price. Bike was fine for my 75 km ride along coastline, and separate ride into Adelaide hills which was stunning. Overall an excellent experience.

Adelaide Bike Hire

Martin was very helpful with great communication regarding the online booking and when he was able to deliver and collect the bike from my accommodation in the city of Adelaide. Martin took the time to set the bike seat height as per my request and supplied pedals and a helmet. He also provided a map and went through suggested routes with estimated times for the trips. The bike was excellent to ride and in great condition. Could recommend Martin and his bike hire service highly enough.

Best bike hire I have ever experienced

Martin delivered the bikes where we were staying and picked them up afterwards exactly as promised with a ton of additional info on rides and sightseeing. Bikes were in perfect condition. Excellent service - Warmly recommended!

One of the highlights of our Adelaide visit

My husband and I hired bikes from Adelaide Bike Hire to ride to, and from, and around the Adelaide Equestrian Festival. Martin could not have been any more helpful in fitting us out with the bikes. They were delivered to, and collected from, our accommodation without any fuss. The bikes were totally fit for purpose and in pristine condition. It was a 10/10 experience!

Head for the hills on the Gather Round Weekend.

Martin met us at our hotel in the middle of Adelaide. The bikes were great, with panniers & cleats as per our specs with the online booking. He gave us some maps & tips on routes. My wife & I enjoyed a day exploring Adelaide by bike including a ride to Henly Beach & back along the river track. Set off to Hahndorf the next day. Good climb & lots of scenery along the way. Signage for the route is hard to see sometimes. Would recommend a phone mount for guidance. I set a course & had one earpiece in from my phone which worked OK. It was our first time touring so we knew we'd learn a bit. Down the McLaren Vale & onto Myponga Reservoir. Good descents but maybe a bit too far for my wife. I think I overestimated her stamina. Got to the B&B just at dusk. Had a rest day which was ok as it was rainy, then rode to Seaford Train station for a trip back to Adelaide. Martin was right on time to collect the bikes. Around 180 kms over 3 days of riding. A good intro to touring. Half the time it felt like we were riding through a Hans Heysen landscape. Having good weather on our riding days helped. Beautiful scenery all around. Only one flat tyre so I call that a good result. I took my bike levers as I prefer them but I'm sure the ones supplied would have been fine. Spare tubes, repair kits & tyre levers were supplied. Great bikes, great trip. Cheers!
