Wanted to try this with a friend. But most dates on site show as booked out and had no luck contacting them by phone. Maybe on the next trip when service improves a bit.

An exciting adventure through familiar surrounds. A truly unique way to discover a new city or see Adelaide in a completely different light. Fun for all ages and abilities, it's well organised and is sure to get those competitive juices flowing. Highly highly recommend!

Fire Hazard Games activities are some of the most fun to be had!
To date, my husband and I have experienced three of their activities - Undercover, Raiders of the Lost Archive, and Santa Dash.

Undercover lets you go sleuthing and sneaking around Rundle Mall, tailing other teams, making drops, deciphering clues and getting a lot of exercise! We took our 11-year-old niece and she had an absolute ball of a time.

Raiders is within the State Library and is a little slower paced (no running!) but just as much fun solving puzzles and trying to beat other teams to the answers.

Santa Dash was the most intense game, sprinting away from naughty elves whilst trying to solve clues to find the lost gift tags.

Every game has been well-planned and executed, with fantastic staff who stay in perfect character and make it a lot of fun. A great way to spend a few hours on a weekend!

Can't wait to see what they come up with next.

A group of work friends and I got together to crack the Curatorial Cold Case of Raiders of the Lost Archive. It was terrific fun exploring the gorgeous State Library hunting down clues. The facilitators were great, and we loved the challenge of using our observation skills to solve puzzles against the clock. Being in the SLSA meant this was not a weather dependent activity. Highly recommended. Thanks so much team!

'Raiders of the lost archive' was an incredible way of learning a little more about Adelaide's history and culture, as well as exploring the State Library! You and your team are given tasks and riddles to solves with clues hidden all around you, as well as a map of the library. As you explore more and more, you uncover hidden clues whilst racing against other teams! It was a fun and fantastic team building exercise with sensational actors who really commit to their roles. It really helped me appreciate what the library has to offer and I will definitely be returning in the future to get involved in another game.

An excellent way to spend my Sunday afternoon! The clues were interesting and enjoyable, and the way the new clues were pushed through was exciting and the website worked very smoothly.
The organisers playing the characters of Prof. Coffinberry, Ms. Rackharrow and Mr Cartright struck an excellent balance between informative and fun and I couldn't recommend this game more highly!
The State Library provided an excellent backdrop for the treasure hunt, and it was a very enjoyable way to spend some time in a beautiful space I don't normally get to see.

My childhood dream of being a secret agent finally found an outlet in the form of "Undercover" by Fire-Hazard Games.

I grabbed an equally enthusiastic friend and entered a world of espionage within the humble Rundle Mall. The spy missions themselves involved tailing another pair of agents (and losing them), making drop offs (that were unfortunately intercepted), liaising with fellow agents to collect codes (they were in amazing disguises), and there was a bonus mission wherein my partner in spycraft cracked a secret code during a car ride (while I was busy following a suspicious pair).

It was quite a fun experience, and it really felt like I was part of a hidden spy world. Walking down the street and noticing an agent in a completely different disguise, or seeing someone sit down next to a suspicious old lady tossing bird seed really gives that spy thriller rush.

Great Actors, updates provided by a website that works well with very few glitches but make sure you turn your WiFi off and have plenty of data as the time for each mission is limited and some free wifi networks don't allow you to upload without logging in. Other players (We had about 25 pairs in our game) need to be avoided which adds to the suspense. At the end, we met at HQ and got scores, met the actors and watched a slideshow of photos taken by one of the undercover operatives of us moving through the game. There is a steep learning curve but after the first couple of missions, it becomes easier to get into the swing of things. Would definitely recommend

I stumbled across Fire Hazard games on the 'weekend notes' website and text messaged the number provided who replied telling me to meet at 12:30pm and ask for 'Macaw'. Not knowing what to expect at all, we rocked up and did as asked and WOW... what an AWESOME and IMMERSIVE experience we had from there onwards. Honestly the Undercover game was 2 of the most enjoyable hours ive ever had! The attention to detail and role-playing from the staff made playing Undercover so realistic and full of adrenalin. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys spy type games or role playing and is willing to have a go. I will DEFINITELY be going again... or will I? ;)
