Baird Bay Ocean Eco Experience is a marine experience, once done, you will never forget. None of the marine mammals of Baird Bay have ever been fed, nor have they been enticed in any other way. The interaction is entirely of their choosing and will remain so. Not everyday is perfect, the conditions are wild and free. We give it our best shot for an incredible interaction to happen for you with either the sea lions or dolphins, or at its very best both these beautiful marine mammals on the one tour. No guarantees are promised, but in saying that, we can guarantee the least that will happen, is, you will see the sea lions up close and personal.

It might be a bumpy ride down to Baird Bay but what awaits you is well worth it. The boat boat journey out to the swimming area is short and once there you are straight into the water. In no time the dolphins appear and...More

This was a wonderful experience. You don't need to be a strong swimmer as you can use a buoyancy aid, and the wetsuits are buoyant anyway. The young seals were very curious and would swim right up close. It was the highlight of our trip.

We took our 7 year old on this half day tour just yesterday and it was absolutely incredible! We swam with at least 8 or 10 sea lions in a safe pool enclosed by reef. The water was crystal clear! We just couldn't believe the...More

Visited for a week exactly, staying in one of the few luxury shacks offered for visitors. Very remote location, no shops, Internet or phone reception BUT that's what makes the place so great, gives you a chance to get away from the hussle of the...More

We went to South Australia mainly for this experience. It was amazing. A must do. There isn't much written about this area for foreigners, so hopefully this helps... Getting there: You can get an easy and usually cheap flight from Adelaide to Port Lincoln. From...More
