It is an absolute tragedy how this course has been allowed to deteriorate. The last cyclone finished it. The once carpet-like cooch fairways have disappeared under a layer of native grasses that have also taken over the now sand-free bunkers. The "greens" cannot be saved. They are like putting on cobblestones, completely covered in wild buffalo grass and weeds. The... More

We are glad we took the advice of a Trip Advisor member who suggested to stay in Airlie Beach and only visit this golf course for the day. The course was nice although not as nice as we would have expected for the price. Perhaps because we visited in the off-season, the greens had a lot of debris, and the... More

We stayed here about 5 years ago, and revisited for 2 days on our way back from the Whitsunday area. Nothing has changed, it's very quiet. Great accomodation at a good price, the staff fall over themselves to assist you in any way they can. The on site restaraunt is well priced with excellent food and the friendliest service possible.... More

Laguna boasts an excellent golf course but little else. Overall it is a literny of broken promises. The "resort" - if you can call it that - has about 120 villas and apartments, a nice swimming pool and an expensive restaurant but no people. If you're a keen golfer you'll enjoy about a day here. Book for a three day... More

This is a very strange place!. The golf course is teriffic, a great challenge and very well maintained but the resort is dead. Aside from the fact that it is 20 miles from the nearest town (Proserpine) with no public transport, there are no guests. The main hotel (the Lodge) closed about two years ago with accomodation now being provided... More
