I can not highly recommend this tour enough. From the minute we arrived we felt very welcomed by our guide Brett, he even managed to remember all of our names by the end of day 1! The team at the camp were amazing and everything ran like clock work. The accommodation was above what we expected and beds were very comfy which was perfect after a long day exploring. Learning about the island from someone who is passionate about it was very interesting and each story time felt like we were becoming more and more knowledgeable about the island.

Did 3days2night tour and it was awesome. Accomodation is solid 100%, food was good aswell, you will never go hungry. Visited the spots earlier than other tours, definitely the tour was well thought through. Shout out to our tour guide Cory! Definitely well spoken and his passion for sharing his knowledge about the island is greatly evident. He loves what he does for sure. Worth the money and time spent!

This was by far one of my stand out experiences from my travels! The lakes and sites you visit are out of this world and you have a team of people who take care of everything you need and so friendly too. Story time with Brett was always great, he is so experienced and has so much knowledge and is generally was a blast to hang out with!

Just finished this tour, this has been the highlight of my trip to Australia, really enjoyed seeing the fantastic sites and listening about the history of the island. Brett was an awesome tour guide and was great at providing directions for the less confident sand drivers. Definitely would recommend this tour.

Myself and my partner have just returned from the most recent trip to K’gari and had the best time on this tour!
Our guide Xavier was fantastic from the outset, his passion and knowledge of the island really added to the experience. The accommodation is perfect for what it is needed for, nice clean and spacious and the sites and routes taken on the island were fantastic.
Shoutout to Jamie (and the rest of the volunteers) in the staff back at the base as well - food was great, and they were extremely welcoming and friendly.
We were also very lucky to be in the company of such great people who made the days/evenings a great laugh.
Would recommend this trip to anyone!

If you’re looking for a tag along tour to k’gari this is definitely the tour to book. I joined the tour solo and everyone in the group were so lovely. The accommodation on this tour is amazing, such a lovely eco-friendly lodge with everything you could need, down to biscuits in the fridge! The staff were so lovely and joined in with the tour when we were sat at the fire and one evening were enjoying music in their cabin and let me and two others chat and dance with them on their down time (thanks Sammy!!). The itinerary is extremely well thought out and our guide knew exactly what needed to be done and when and would always keep us in the loop. The food was brilliant and we rarely went a few hours before the mention of food or a stop at an island shop. Every stop we made was accompanied by the stories and beliefs of the aboriginal people of the land and respect paid to them. This tour is a step above all the others in every aspect and left us all wanting to miss the ferry so we could stay an extra night. Thanks K’gari adventures and to our guide Xavier!!

3 days/ 2 nights trip on K’Gari was one of the most unique experience I’ve ever had.
Amazing island, full of lakes, natural pools, forest…
The camp and the crew is amazing, the food was really good.
Shampoo, shower gel, conditionner provided. They are very ecofriendly.
Our guide Bratt was one of the best, so passionate and respectfull of the island. He told us stories and took us to the most beautiful places.
Would 100% recommend this trip to discover the beautiful K’Gari.

There was a real mix of travellers on my tour from young solos to older couples and families. Our guide Cory did a great job of catering to everyone’s needs. This is a great way of seeing the sights of K’gari and to have the history of the island explained to you along the way.
The accommodation was great, I stayed in a dorm and it was so comfortable but you have the option to upgrade. Shampoo/conditioner was provided and it felt like premium quality. Food was great and there was plenty of it, even for a veggie :)

It was good to be back on K'gari after 7 years. This time I joined a beach clean-up organized by K'gari Adventures. We collected a lot of rubbish but also had time to see some of the island's beautiful highlights.
The staff is super friendly, plenty of delicious food and the accommodation has everything you wish (games, shampoos, snacks etc.). The beds are comfy and tents/rooms are clean. I would definitely recommend a trip with K'gari.

Hey!
We're sorry but we cannot take children under the ages of 15 years old on our tours due to our insurance policy. I would recommend a bus tour for you guys as a family or possibly renting a 4WD of your own and staying at our beachcamp retreat on K'gari - Fraser Island :)

Hi,
We are five people staying at Frasier this Christmas. We are trying to find a one day private guided tour og the island starting at Frasier. Do you offer such a tour, or could you forward us to an operator offering such?

I have mobility problems, is it suitable for me?
K'gari Fraser Island Adventures
Noosa, Australia
Depending on your mobility situation, the 2 day tour might suit you. The three day tour does have a trek to lake Wabby that is just over 4 km return, so mobility would be an issue. Also climbing Indian Head and up the sand slope to the Champagne pools and down several steps at the other end may also present challenges, once again - depending on the nature of your issue.
The two day tour accommodates you in a beach-house so you get a break from walking in sand all the time, plus it does not include any long treks. The beach house is elevated and so involves five steps to access.
Be aware that there are short treks from the car parks to the lakes on every occasion.
This answer really depends on the level of your mobility problems. I encourage you to call the office to discuss your situation, Drop Bear has highly trained staff who will be more than happy to advise you on the suitability of the tours for your specific needs. Hi,
Yes it most definitively is. There was a good age mix of people in our group, including people in their early 20s.

Hallo zusammen,
