Sunset Safaris make life easy for our guests by towing our guests out to the wrecks behind our specially designed Jet Skis with Jumbo Sized Rescue Mats. Our guests simply hold onto one of the 10 hand grips on the mats, while the Jet Ski operator skilfully and very slowly tows the group through the water and over to the wrecks to a shallow area called the "Fish Feeding Area." This only takes about 3 minutes, and helps our guests to begin their snorkeling of the ship wrecks as fresh as a daisy.
After the guided snorkeling tour of the wrecks has been completed, we again tow those guests who want to, back to the beach.
On super calm days with no currents, and only when those participating are accomplished snorkelers, we do allow our guests to snorkel to and from the wrecks while accompanied by our snorkeling tour guide if they wish to do so. However due to currents between the beach and the wrecks being quite strong on most occasions, it is much safer, easier and convenient to go the towing option, and our guests love the experience.
