About
SkyPoint Climb takes place on the top of the Q1 building in Surfers Paradise and at 270 metres in the air, it is one of Australia's highest external building walks. Starting on level 77 of SkyPoint Observation Deck, Climbers will enter the open air dressed in a full-body suit and harness. Following their Climb guide, participants will then traverse up towards the crow's nest located at the highest point of the Climb at around 270 metres above the ground. Regular stops will be taken to admire the stunning 360-degree views of the Gold Coast region including the golden beaches, city skyline, and lush green hinterland. Climbers will then descend to level 77. Altogether the experience takes approximately 90 minutes including a briefing session and the time on the Climb course.

Compared to other climbs I've done (Auckland Sky Tower, Sydney Eye), this was very good value for money given we spent about 45 minutes up there.
The guide was friendly and fun which local knowledge to point out the sights and answer questions.
The view is incredible, especially on a sunny day. The menu inside is not too bad price-wise (I expected it to be a lot more expensive) so I recommend adding on the Dine option, extra $10 for a $20 voucher.
It's not for the squeamish, we're clipped in a row so there's no going back if you change your mind!
The photos, like most places, are majorly over-priced so I skipped that. You get a free group photo included anyway which is more than most places give you.

Did the SkyPoint Climb on the 1st of Jan and what an incredible experience it was!! The views are amazing, even though it wasn’t a sunny day but it was still worth it. Our guide Georgia was amazing, super friendly, humorous, took amazing photos of our tour and made the tour special for us!! Thanks Georgia!! Highly recommend and we are definitely coming back for this!!

Always good to get up high and have a look at the Gold Coast from every aspect. Lovely helpful staff. Covid times have made SkyPoint very quiet, so go and enjoy it while you can. Pre-covid one couldn't move up there sometimes.

The walk was what we expected and more. We felt extremely safe and well cared for by our guide Jake. Jake was both informative and witty showing the upmost respect to all the climbers. We would do the climb again and fully recommend anyone to also undertake the climb.

Went there for a thrilling experience and I got what I wanted! Especially good for people who arent the biggest fans of roller-coasters who want to experience an adrenaline rush
