Hot air balloon flight followed by breakfast at winery with return transfers

This was a wonderful morning from start to finish; worth the very early start! The transfer bus, ground staff and balloon pilot were fun, informative and highly competent, the flight exciting and the views from the balloon spectacular. All followed by delicious breakfast at the winery. Truly an experience of a lifetime! Highly recommend.

The view from above
Wonderful experience with Jay and crew, they had excellent knowledge of the local area and good description of everything we could see from above; answering all our questions. I felt completely safe at all times. Big bucket list tick.

Thank you to our pilot Dhawal, our driver Chuck and Kevin our alround good guy for our fantastic hot air balloon ride this morning. Unbelievable experience. Loved it. Felt completely safe and at ease doing this flight. Great safety instructions and commentary. Highly recommended

Hor air balloon with warm people and wry sense of humor

We did the tour reluctantly because it starts at 0330 hours in the morning. Then Rob appeared bang on time and was bubbly and happy as though it was his birthday. Rob made the journey lively with his chirpy and funny conversations all through.

We reached the place where the Balloon was at around 0500 in morning. The support crew and Pilot - Dhawal were immaculate in their preparations. We knew instantly that we were in safe hands.

The experience was very nice. Our Pilot Dhawal was informative and engaging with a typically Aussie sense of humour. Our landing was very smooth. The hot air balloon experience makes you come very close to Mother Nature and all it’s elements.

Post landing was a bit of a work. We joined the crew in folding up the balloon and placing it back in the truck.

We then went to Reilly vineyard. Very well maintained, neat and clean and with a homelike breakfast.

By the end of it, waking up at 0300hours in morning looks very worth it. Surely worth an experience. Go for it folks. Kudos to Rob & Dhawal and the crew

Outstanding all-round experience ! Very professional operation from start to finish. Plenty of pick-up locations with some flexibility (just ask), excellent communication, really pleasant, very experienced and competent staff who seem to thoroughly enjoy their jobs. Balloons launch on average 300 out of 364 days a year, so high success rate. Sublime floating experience topped off with a hearty breakfast and glass of bubbles. Special thanks to Rob - chauffeur and tour guide, Jay - pilot extraordinaire who loves his job, and Matt - all-round guy. Would highly recommend, despite the early morning start :D !!

Hot Air Balloons were extremely well organised and professional. I would gladly recommend them and the amazing experience of hot air ballooning. Kelly was an excellent driver/co-ordinator and very entertaining - not an easy task with a sleep deprived audience at 4.30am in the morning. Stu the pilot was excellent and the whole experience, including the breakfast afterwards was memorable and amazing.
My only suggestion would be 15-20 mins longer at o’reilleys so there is more time to enjoy breakfast and still have time to wander the facilities and visit the alpacas.

Stunning!! Well worth the trip

Absolutely amazing!!! This experience is one of a kind, the whole crew (Stu -pilot, Kelly and Wayne -Support crew) were very friendly, highly knowledgeable and made this experience very enjoyable. Kelly had some great puns and jokes to kee the mood light, Stu had fantastic skills and interesting stories and Wayne made all the jobs in the background happen.
I loved the view, going inside the balloon once we had landed and the fun facts as we packed up the ballon.
The breakfast was enjoyable and the view was spectacular. Great photos too and photo opportunities.

A truly wonderful experience.

It may not be everyone's cup of tea to get up at 3 30 am and be driven through the countryside in the dark, but once you arrive at your destination to see the balloon being inflated that's when the fun begins!
The weather was perfect, the views stunning and the pilot(sorry forgot his name) very professional and informative.
A smooth landing was followed by everyone having photos inside the balloon and all helping to pack it away.
It was then a scenic drive to Oreillys Vineyard for a lovely champagne breakfast and finally back to our hotel by our fantastic driver Chuck. It was a brilliant day from start to finish (a good 8 hours door to door) and we would highly recommend this to anyone.

No hot air in this review! Great service from the very friendly team at hot air GC, bus transfer included from our hotel on main beach to launch site. 🎈🔥 Very exciting from the moment you jump into the basket! Our fantastic pilot Jay has so much experience and really knows his stuff, and takes his time to answer any questions that about the experience. Perfect landing, then it was back on the bus to an outstanding complimentary breakfast at a beautiful vineyard. Highly recommend this company, and all of their staff.
