Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The tour covers the main easy-to-see attractions in the Sprinbrook Nat'l Park. You get to meet the subtropical rainforest with its waterfalls, flora and if you are lucky, fauna (we saw koalas, roos, pademelons and skinks). You couldn't wish for a better guide - knowledgeable, friendly and genuinely good at his job. An excellent way for a traveller-through to spend a day. If I had more time, I'd go see the glow worms in the park.

We had the most amazing Day with Peter, he was full of interesting facts and made us feel super comfortable and tried his absolute best to make the experience as personal as possible for us.
The places he took us were absolutely beautiful, some hidden gems too.
The l home made lunch was also delicious, a really wonderful experience we will remember forever!

This tour is an absolute must do for anyone visiting the Gold Coast. The tour was well planned out. Peter is very passionate about what he does and it truly shows in his work. This is not a big group tour so you get a personal experience without having to worry about walking with large crowds. I would have never been able to do or learn so much about the rainforests and wildlife in the Gold Coast if it wasn’t for Peter. The tour was 7hrs long and not once did I get bored. Peter even made us a delicious lunch. I’m honestly surprised at how much you get to do for the price of this tour. Well worth it!

Really cool trip - we saw tons of glow worms and plenty of other wildlife too. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife, and it was a nice small group (4 of us plus the guide). There were no other groups in our spot so it was quiet, and definitely a unique experience walking through the rainforest in the dark. Our guide also stopped the bus on the way back so we could see the beautiful stars. Great night!

We had a nice evening walk with Peter in the rainforest. We started out with some light but it got dark quickly. He explained the glow worms, the rainforest and the history of the area. He took us to a quiet area in Springbrook National Park. It was away from the crowds looking for the glow worms in the cave. It was a really nice evening. It was just us so we could go at our own pace. We even saw a Padimelon!

Peter was an amazing guide!! I really enjoyed the fact that the group was small, because we got to take our time through the forest, and we also got to see so many glow worms without disturbing them with our lights. If you go with a big group, you have to wait till EVERYONE turns their light off to really see them, and I saw some other groups that had about ten people. So glad that wasn’t us. Peter was so informative throughout the entire tour as well, starting from the car ride there. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone that wants a more intimate group setting instead of a really big bus tour.

I actually found out about this tour very last minute but I’m so glad I went. Pete came to pick me up and dropped me off at the front step of my accommodation which was very handy and kind. He is very knowledgeable and you can tell he is passionate and has a lot of experience in nature. It is a great opportunity to learn as I can pretty much guarantee, any question you can think of, he will be able to answer.

Throughout the hike he is very good at spotting all the interesting fauna and flora. We actually got to see a rare blue crayfish, bioluminescent fungi and of course, the glow worms which are really beautiful. It really was a truly incredible experience! If you like nature, this is a must!

Thanks a lot for everything Pete :)

Walking through a forest glittering with glow worms and behind a waterfall under the light of a near-full moon was a breathtaking experience. Pete was a really knowledgeable guide who covered the area's history, formation, flora and fauna. We were given plenty of time to soak in the sights and Pete's keen eye also meant we got to spot some extra wildlife including geckos, frogs and the amazing Lamington crayfish. Highly recommended!
