Don't just drive past if you are thinking about this one. Go in and experience it. The place is clean and tidy, the animals are well looked after, the talks given are knowledgeable, the cafe is a reasonable price. Parking is easy and free. You...More

We saw lots of wonderful creatures in the 2 hours we were there. Great for adults and children. We got there at feeding time for the cassowaries and some of the ducks. My husband fed grapes to one of the cassowaries. The wallabies and kangaroos...More

I would highly recommend stopping by the wildlife habitat while you’re in Port Douglas! It’s a relatively small park, so can be done in about 2-3 hours. The paths through the park are set up without any fences between you and the animals, and many...More

There was a 15-min koala presentation and photo op at 1145 am. Don’t know about any private tours.
