A long time favorite, 'Breakfast with the Birds' at the Wildlife Habitat is a charming experience, featuring plenty of birds, a great breakfast, and a chance to tour around the rest of their grounds too. Koalas, kangaroos, crocodiles, and assorted other animals are all on display, making for a great tour and experience.

Wow this really is a zoo that you are in. Exotic birds flying over head or just sitting in the tree. Kangaroos are so friendly they let you stroke them and they eat out of your hand that itself is a great experience, so many varieties. Great to see the emus roaming around to. Saw so many different animals up... More

A magical morning out. Great for young children, as most of the animals are very friendly. I would recommend going early as the Port Douglas tropical climate tends to get hot during the middle of the day.

Approx 200 ppl for a business dinner - entertaining animals, musician (Harpist was fantastic) and toad races. Food and drink service was all top-notch.

When we first arrived it was explained to us that the crocodile areas were closed due to some bad weather, but this did not affect our visit in the slightest. The habitats were exceptional! I highly recommend purchasing a bag of food for the kangaroos, they were all so gentle and friendly, and you will not regret it! We made... More

Our group of five adults visited today. We started off with Breakfast with the Birds which was great. The buffet is relatively small but has a decent selection of yummy food. You eat at tables surrounded by various colourful and very noisy birds! The bird presentation that goes from 9-9:30am was great. There wasn't a huge amount of people around... More

The day was most a lot of traveling by bus... And we didn't see anything but some insects. The tour on Daintree river was good. We did see some crocs and our guide Nick was great....

Based on the recommendation of a friend who is reluctant to spend money on highly commercialized attractions, we went on our last day in Port Douglas. Admission is good for seven days, and I wish we would have gone earlier in the week! The ticket agent planned our visit for us, be aware the crocodiles are not fed on Fridays... More

We opted to have breakfast with the birds one morning which I would highly recommend. The breakfast is a buffet spread which was plentiful and the birds walk around the tables as you eat or chirp away! The sanctuary staff who do the tours and provide you with opportunities to handle or feed the birds/animals are exceptional. Big call out... More

Went to visit today in the hope of seeing Australian wildlife Place is run down Many places and display areas were closed for renovations Reminded me of an old fashioned zoo that needed shutting down Resent being charged 34 dollars to get in to discover so many sections including the one set of toilets were closed No way I would...
