We holidayed in Port Douglas with the idea of visiting some of the spectacular natural wonders of the area . We knew that the Great Barrier Reef, Daintree, Mossman Gorge would give us a great holiday experience and of course, they did. One of the best experiences we had though was a Paleo Cooking Class with Holiday Cooking Port Douglas. Alan was a brilliant host and we enjoyed sitting down to lunch getting to know him and his family whilst we indulged in the delicious treats that he had just taught us to prepare and cook. We added to our repertoire of healthy recipes and left with great skills that will help us to continue leading a fit and healthy lifestyle.

My partner and i spent his birthday cooking up a delicious Thai feast with Roberta and Alan! This is a couple who will have you in stitches with stories of their travels and career while you prepare amazing food and learn about the importance of fresh produce. We were amazed at how quickly our time went and felt like we had just made some great new friends! This is a must do for any foodie travelling to the Cairns/Port Douglas area. It adds some diversity to the town and you will leave feeling like there is MUCH more you can do for your community and at home to ensure you cook with the best ingredients and support local farming! We will be creating our Thai meals for family and friends all the time now - no need for take out!
