Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had an amazing morning out with Bill. We learned so much about life in the rainforest, away from the typical walks you might take. He tailors the trip to your interests and we enjoyed both his level of knowledge and his reverence for living things.

Bill is such a hilarious, knowledgeable tour guide and fun guy! Great depth of knowledge of the Daintree forest. From the weather, sounds of birds to different species of fungi. We learned heaps about the history of the Daintree.
So much fun we had and great learning experience for all of us.
Would recommend this for a more intimate tour.

We had 3 generations of us wanting a uncrowned and bespoke adventure through the daintree- one were we could learn, observe and engage in the natural beauty- but more than that the ecology and history of the oldest forests on earth- We got it with Bill! Bill’s knowledge and skills in communicating the immense knowledge of the rainforest was nothing but inspiring!
Highly recommended- and we are looking forward to joining Bill again on a future visit!

We assumed we were booked in for a tour with scones, a frolic under a waterfall and a few hours with a boatload of other tourists. We were so happy that it wasn't that and thank you to our accommodation for booking this private tour with Bill instead; we were elated with the experience we got to enjoy.
Having been back in the city with a few weeks in lockdown, I'm reminiscing of the idyllic day spent in the Daintree. We strolled through the forest learning and appreciating the history and abundance of flora. We discovered a newfound excitement for fungi, and how to communicate with Wompoos.
Bill tailors the experience to you. This tour was the best part of our trip. Thank you so much for the fun morning.

My partner and I had a brilliant morning on Bill’s Daintree tour.

Bill shared endless knowledge on the history of the Daintree, along with areas in and around Port Douglas.

The tour provided a deep nature experience, something I would strongly recommend.

Bill took my husband and I on a private tour while on our honeymoon, Bill provided a whole lot of knowledge along with lots of laughs! We felt very safe in his hands. The walk was worth the view! 😊
