    Great Market!
This was a great place to enjoy great food, and shop for meaningful gifts and souvenirs from Australia on our trip. There were over 50 vendors, and we had some many interesting conversations with the actual artists and artisans. Everyone was cheerful and friendly. We ended up with so many great finds! There were also lots of tasty food items and produce as well as fresh local meats and seafood. Much more useful than Rusty’s in Cairns for serious tourist shopping.

    Lovely seafront Sunday market
Visited this one Sunday morning. Lots of arts and crafts to see. Some food/fruit but mainly an arts/crafts. Was pretty busy so obviously a very popular attraction! Well worth a visit if you are in the area!

The best Market experience I’ve ever had.
The Sunday Market at Port Douglas is an absolute gem. Set in an idyllic coastal location, adjacent to a quaint church that has a Service on Sunday mornings, the Market has so many interesting stalls providing novel, fresh interesting and local products. Stall holders are friendly and obliging and the Market has a warm and inviting atmosphere. I would thoroughly recommend the Sunday Market as a fantastic experience to any visitors to Port Douglas.

Large variety of very good quality items from local makers. Some good food stalls. Nice vibe near the water and well spaced so you don’t feel crowded.

Standard markets with an assortment of vendors, hippies, bogans and tourists.
Better for the location but some of the goods-on offer range from great to odd / crap.
Go and wander over to the Tin Shed - good place for respite from the mob

Loved the local markets - spent 1-2 hours wandering around and very well supported by travels and local's alike - with wide variety and no 'trash'

Like all Sunday markets, they sell some local products and crafts. We strolled from one stall to another. You can find some local tropical fruités and vegetables in here.

We loved these markets. There was a huge range of local products and crafts for sale. The market is on the foreshore and covers quite a large area.
