Nice way to spend a Sunday morning in Port Douglas. Was quite busy owing to a number of weekends of bad weather but still easy to get around and look at the stalls.

The council controls/approves each vendor which means this really is a good quality market with a wide variety of stalls. I usually struggle to find anything of interest at markets these days as they all tend to be ticky tack that is found everywhere. PD Sunday Market was really good and managed to find a few unique items to buy.

Not a huge range of food/drink options but there are at least 4-5 food vendors and a couple of drink vendors.

Great little market with loads of local stalls. We went early at 8am so got a great park but went back later for lunch and it was very busy. Chatted to some stall holders who were very friendly.

I love a good market. This one isn’t very big but it’s in a great location under the trees. A few good stalls of local products but not a huge variety. We did the market in 15 minutes. It’s worth a look but it won’t take long

Great stalls with a range of different goods on sale. From local foodstuffs, jerky and fruit and veg to wonderful jewellery stalls this is the best market locally.

Interesting market, some oddball stuff and the usual clothes, Nick nacks, food, coffee, good position to take advantage of breezes, a good way to kill a couple of hours

Enjoyable morning adventure in a shady market that runs from 8am to around noon. Local crafters are set up in stalls selling everything from local fruit and veg, to candles, to paintings or tarot card readings. We bought some fabulous hand screen printed linen tea towels with motifs that celebrated the tropics (platypus, pineapples, and palm trees were our choices), some tasty nuts from the local toasted/flavoured nut vendor, and some art from the local Sea studio gallery (got a baby shower to go to? Check out the adorable swaddling cloths and baby roo, koala, and wombat prints. Guaranteed to make you a tasteful yet elegant gift giver).

Very good market with locally made goods. Some are highly priced but definitely worth a look if staying in a Sunday morning.
