Great market with lots of food options for cooling down in the heat. Highly recommend the iced chai and simply rose bracelets!

We bought local fresh prawns from this market but they were frozen and very tough . Threw them in the bin. Not happy buyer beware.

Look for the yellow stall, best choc bananas and very environmentally friendly. He’s left over rappers are made into sculptures so they don’t go into the sea! Wow!

Some fantastic food carts at the markets. We ate savoury and sweet French crepes which were divine. Also plenty of stalls to look at and purchase from. Lovely location under the trees.

Plenty of stuff to look at but no aboriginal bits which I had hoped for. Nicest bits I think was locally made jewellery. Very warm so moved away to hotel across the road for drinks!

We had a great morning out at the markets. There was a lot of great stalls to look at, local produce, handmade crafts, delicious foods and really friendly people. Defiantly worth checking out.

Loved the markets at Port Douglas - so much to see and hand-made local products too, which I really liked. Would recommend a visit.

I am reasonably sure that the bathrooms are within the market area. Just ask one of the stall holders and I am sure they can direct you. The market covers a fairly small space,so you won’t have far to walk.
