Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Was originally in two minds about this trip but I ended up loving the whole 2 hours. Our guide Trevayne was a real star and clearly loved sharing his knowledge and humor. The walk itself was a great mix of the spiritual, the practical and the scientific. We had walked in the national park the previous day but returning with Trevayne made the bush really come to life. Would highly recommend the experience.

Mosman gorge is an absolute dream. Wow. So beautiful. We grabbed some snacks from the cafe, kangaroo sausage rolls to be precise and headed out. We got the bus to the gorge, had a wander through the rainforest then found a quiet swimming spot amongst the white rocks and spent a beautiful couple of hours dipping and sunbathing. The water was beautifully clear and so refreshing. This was one of my favourite days, super simple but so memorable.

Very worthwhile trip. Our guide was excellent. The history, the culture, the nature were all well told by our friendly guide. So much parallels to USA native American culture and ceremonies. Explained in both historical and current ways of indigenous folks. The forest plants diversity along with how historically the people used various plants etc. Very much enjoyed our visit and would recommend it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dreamtime walk with our wonderful guide Yunganda. He told as and showed us so much in our walk through the forest. It was so good to see the forest through the eyes of a traditional owner. I particularly enjoyed the demonstration of how paints are made from ochre, chalk and charcoal. Highly recommended

What an amazing experience at Mossman Gorge! We recently took the Dreamtime Walks tour, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide, Santos, was knowledgeable and shared his culture and stories with genuine passion.

Walking through the lush rainforest, learning about traditional plant uses, and seeing how they make bush soaps and ochre painting felt like a deep dive into a rich history. The smoking ceremony at the start set a special tone, making us feel connected to the land and its traditions. And wrapping up with some bush tea and damper was just the perfect end - it really gave us a new perspective on Australian history.

Big shoutout to Santos for making our day unforgettable. If you're in the area, this tour is a must. You won't be disappointed!

Mossman Gorge itself is extremely beautiful however upon buying our tickets for the bus there was no brochure or map supplied with everything named, extra info about the site and its cultural significance or anything. This was extremely disappointing as our girls are completing journals as we travel with info and fun facts on where we visit as well as cutting our maps and pictures to stick in. When asked the lady was very polite and apologetic and gave the girls some stickers.
Secondly along the walking track the signs with info are old and fading - some so much so you can’t even read them. Again hard to teach our girls cultural significance and education.

We went on one of the Dreamtime Walks guided by Levi and had an amazing experience. Levi welcomed us initially with a traditional smoking ceremony before taking us on a guided tour through the rainforest, telling us stories of cultural significance to him and providing us with an insight into the rainforest , how his family and culture have lived together in harmony with this old and magnificent forest for generations, and the multitude of plants and creatures that make the forest so unique.
Along the way we were very blessed to come across 2 Cassowaries - not a very common occurrence to see one let alone two on the same day.
At the conclusion of our walk, we got to share some damper and tea while we chatted about the tour.
A great experience not to be missed.

An amazing walk hosted by Uncle Tom. Uncle Tom had eyes everywhere and was able to seek out and show us so many things that would have gone completely unnoticed by us. Point in fact, Cassowary poo! Interesting and enjoyable tour. Yalata.
