My favourite part of the whole experience was drifting peacefully over the Atherton Tablelands.

By far the best experience we have taken in a long time. The crew were very professional, yet had a great sense of humour putting us at ease. From the pick-up by bus, to the 51 minute balloon ride where time seemed to stand still and then the smooth landing, followed by our breaky with champagne-all were fantastic. I bought this present for my partners 60th and to my horror I'd forgotten a conversation I'd had with him a few years ago, telling me he NEVER wanted to go ballooning! Oops! But his grin said it all! Value for money-tick, beautiful scenery-tick, safety first-tick, great crew-tick.

Our first time in a hot air balloon! The pilot, Bob, was friendly, skilled and confident… he explained where we were going, and safety procedures… the staff working with him were friendly , and wanted all of us to have a wonderful experience. We did… the photos of our trip were all sent to us- at no cost… well worth the cost!

We booked this tour with high expectations... and it did not disappoint!
All of the crew, Toshi & Josh, were fantastic and told us everything we needed to know about our journey in the balloon as well as the necessary brace positions for landing, even some interesting facts / history of the Mareeba area whilst in the air. The bus ride was comfortable (10 mins), although a chilly morning, we soon warmed up under the massive balloons as they inflated in front of us... amazing! Great flight, very scenic overlooking the mountains, tablelands, rivers and townsite. A very soft landing and good fun packing the balloon into the bag and watch it all get loaded onto a trailer. Champagne / mimosa's to top it all off at the end, Fantastic trip. Highly recommend!

We had the most fabulous time flying over the Atherton Tablelands at sunrise. Bob our driver was so helpful and fun and our pilot Rob was entertaining and very professional. We were in very safe hands. There is something magical about letting the wind take you somewhere. For us it was to a cane field as we had to jump the boom sprayer but what a lot of fun!

Very well organised but an early start. We had booked the extended 60 minute trip so took off and landed twice which added to the fun and experience. For a couple who had never done this before we left feeling the the entire morning was just a wonderful adventure which we were glad we part off

Such a beautiful way to start our trip. When Mark picked us up from our hotel in Port Douglas there was a big storm but once we arrived in Mareeba we were greeted by clear blue skies. Really appreciated Mark’s insights and conversation on the way up and back to Port Douglas. It is clear he is passionate about this special part of the world!
