This was at the end of a long holiday, and certainly one of the highlights, not very good in water and not a strong swimmer, I never thought I would have the courage and join my husband snorkelling. However the staff were wonderful, explained everything well and looked after us all swimmer and non swimmers alike. if you go to... More

Fantastic staff to start with, the sea was rough going out. My husband was unfortunate and got sea sick and the staff spotted it straight away and took him where the boat was steadier out back. They kept an eye on him all day and kept him topped up with ice cubes, cold neck towels and advised to eat some... More

This diving tour was very good- we went to 3 sites on agincourt reef and saw numerous types of fish and coral. Our dive master Tami was great - she pointed out so many things to us! Food was good and plentiful, with lunch, morning and afternoon tea provided. It was quite well organized and I would have rated this... More

We liked the variety of reef spots as opposed to being on the reef platform. Introductory diving was a lot more difficult to do than from the reef platform. The platform had a secluded area down below to learn everything in a calm area. On silversonic it was in the pounding water. I couldn't last which was disappointing for me.... More

This boat is a good size. Large enough to handle the seas getting out to the dive sites but smaller (40 to 80) than some other boats that do the reef. Staff was skilled and well organized. Good emphasis on safety, medical conditions, and sea sickness prevention. The only thing they did not do was spend a moment talking about... More

We chose this because it did three dive sites, it was very well organised and everything went like clockwork. All the staff were brilliant and the food on offer was of a very high standard. All in all this was a great trip and well worth it.

Having had to re arrange our itinerary on arrival in Queensland (after a year of planning!) due to Cyclone Debbie, we found ourselves staying in Port Douglas longer than anticipated, and had to re book our planned reef scuba adventure. At the excellent suggestion of Sharon at Uplift Watersports at Port Douglas Marina we booked a scuba trip to the... More

We took the trip out to the Reef. The tour had about 40 guests on board so it was a little busy and there were a few lines for stuff. The one thing that I really liked was the fact that at the beginning of the trip they asked if anyone wanted sea sick pills and I was really happy... More

The SilverSonic tour of the Great Barrier Reef offered three diverse and beautiful locations for diving and snorkeling to a group of about 80. The crew was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and willing to share their love of this magical place with everyone on board. They were able to manage a boat full of reef revelers with efficiency and confidence giving us... More

A fantastic trip out to 3 locations on the barrier reef. Great instruction for introductory scuba dive and fantastic snorkeling experience. Crew were friendly helpful and informative. They do provide prescription lense face masks which are great for those that may need them but you may need to ask and k ow your prescription. Made my wife's snorkeling thoroughly enjoyable... More
