Called at 10am for the 1030am cruise, we were accommodated straight away.
Both staff members were extremely enthusiastic and entertaining especially the captain.
Great commentary and a smooth trip. Saw a baby crocodile which was awesome ! Snacks and a complimentary beverage was provided also.
Costing only $40 for the 1.5hr cruise is all in all worth it !

We were late to head up to Port Douglas and had not booked. Imagine our horror to arrive and find that the midday cruise was not running! Well I can tell you this team are true professionals, when we approached them as the morning tour returned, they volunteered in a heartbeat to take us out straight away! We are so grateful, we had a fantastic tour and treasured every moment!!! The crew are professional, the tour is first rate and we had a great time. I am so impressed, thank you for making our trip up North, thank you so much!!!!!!

Was a last minute trip on our first day in Port Douglas. Very enjoyable and staff were informative. Drinks and niblies provided. Not a fast pace activity. Lovely way to see the river.

While in port douglas we were told that the lady douglas was a great way of seeing crocs in their natural habitat. We were shattered, as were our children who we pumped up they were so excited, but all we saw was 2 so called croc eyes and two mosquitoes having a fight. It cost $29 per adult which was dear for 1 complimentary stubbie, some chips and some stale avocado sangas. All we saw were sharks, which were the proprieters of the lady douglas. Seeing our kids with tears in their eyes was heartbraking. Save your heartbreak and do not go on this tour.

Me and my girlfriend booked the 4.30 tour, the hospitality was fine, thanks to the drink included and the nice lady that served us. The captain dissapointed us, he spoke as a recorded machine for the entire trip (I don't think crocodiles come out if you make all that noise) and he spent most of the time around the marina speaking about the price of the big boats parked in the port instead of looking for some wildlife. We had the impression that his job was actually to promote the other activity (restaurants and boath trip) you can do in Port Duglas rather than going down the river and let us look for something intresting. He showed us the country club, all the restaurants with a view on the laguna (with restaurants owners tactically spotted on their veranda to say hello to us) and some boat tour for the reef! Just insane!!! And however, we haven't seen any animal!!

I was advised before going on this that the daintree croc tour was probably a better idea and hindsight is a wonderful thing ! If you like lazy paddleboat tours then this might just be for you. If you actually want to see some real crocodiles in action pick something else. We did see s couple of small crocs. 3 to be precise. One you could barely see and the other two were like statues. A lovely couple that run the tour but be warned - you could bring a book and you wouldn't miss much.

Recommend this cruise to anyone travelling to Cairns too. Only 45 mins to Port Douglas and just about guaranteed to see some crocodiles in the wild. Very reasonably priced and only 1.5 hours of your day. Sure to take home some fantastic close up photos.

A nice way to see the estuary and creeks as well as a view of town from the water.
Good commentary from the captain, and a nice snack with a drink as we watched the riverbank slide by. Even a couple of small crocs lying in the sun.
Good value.

Our trip on the Lady Douglas was one of the highlights of a weeks holiday in Pt Douglas.
Apart from the usual cruise features, we were particularly impressed with commentary, from a knowledge and presentation viewpoint, of the skipper. He is very passionate about the river, and knows it intimately.
He may not want to hear this, but the content and quality, including humour, would do justice to a night club stand up presentation act.

Enjoyed a great day, complimentary drinks and nibbles, and the show, including crocodiles!!!! Loved it.
