Fun day driving through the Atherton Tablelands, sampling local fruit, damper, wines, liquor, liquers, nuts, delicious lunch of croc, kangaroo, and more. Expert guide Chris and his co driver, Boson, (man's best friend) gave a unique and rewarding informational day out with local knowledge and stories across the day. Thank you Chris . Having done the reef and the rainforests earlier this week, this trip was a perfect end to bring it all together and sample the local inland fare.... highly recommended. Thx, Scott and Andrea, Sydney

Was a long but mainly enjoyable day as we traversed the Tablelands to taste the produce of the local area. Glen was our guide and driver and provided interesting commentary on the region.
We had plenty to eat and drink, with the highlight being lunch at the Platypus Park at Tarzali Lakes.
A notable stop was at Jacques Coffee plantation for a sample of coffee and liqueurs. We marvelled at the fascinating history of this family and their coffee plantation. Mt Uncle Distillery gave us a chance to sample locally made and potent tequila, gin and whiskey.
A long day in the bus and many kms travelled through nice Australian outback.
Perhaps needs to pare back so more time can be devoted to the more interesting stops.

This tour far exceeded our expectations. The opportunity to visit this area with such rich agricultural and historic significance is not to be missed. Dale was a knowledgeable and relaxed guide and we never once felt pressured to rush through the stops.
Each stop offered a tasting experience with wonderful local food, coffee, wine and spirits. We loved the chance to spot some happy little platypus and the final stop was such a relaxed and beautiful way to end our big day.
Thanks again.

A great trip around the Atherton Tablelands sampling local produce and cuisine, fabulous scenery. Always good to see different types of agriculture. And very exciting to spot platypuses in the wild. Our driver Dale was super-informative.

We had a fabulous day out with Chris as our guide. His knowledge and genuine interest in the area was evident. He introduced us to new foods and the producers.
Visiting so many places sounded daunting and we feared being in a food coma by the end of the day. This didn’t happen. The tastings were just right. Pancakes and ice cream, coffee, nuts and fruit. Off to spy a platypus or two, lunch of different game inc crocodile and kangaroo. More was to come with fruit wine tasting, than on to cheese, chocolate, gin and whisky. Can thoroughly recommend. Best part of the day was Chris, his commentary and such friendly nature.

We loved our food & wine tour. Dale our bus driver was a great host & knew lots about the areas & places we traveled through & visited. The group had about 16 people. The places we visited were varied, from pancakes, coffee, nuts & fresh fruit, platypus, to crocodile, kangaroo& yabbie for lunch with fruit wines. A great extravaganza for the taste buds!!Then on to cheeses & amazing chocolates, gin & whiskey. All of the business owners are locals & the products they supply are all fresh & local. We would highly recommend the tour.
