We are dedicated to the collection, preservation, restoration and display of Armoured Vehicles and Artillery from the 1800's to the present day. Our collection includes armoured vehicles and artillery from both world wars with a particular focus on WWII.

If you are into Military vehicles and history, this is the place for you. An amazing collection of vehicles and artefacts on display. We enjoyed our visit here.

We had our private tour with Paul he’s the Military Historian. He was so insightful and explained everything so well, also his knowledge of pretty well anything to do with the war was amazing. You can tell that he loves it because he volunteers

Fantastic museum. An amazing collection of military vehicles-you may need to come back to absorb it all. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. A special mention goes out to Henry who was very pleasant and helpful. Well done Henry! A great place to visit.

Great to see the many and varied our awful but incredibly inventive species has devised to kill each other. This is a remarkable collection. It is particular topical with the Ukraine invasion.

Archie was amazing, funny and a great instructor in the shooting gallery. The whole museum is well set out and clean the signs were very informative. The children loved the APC rides. It's was a great experience.

Staff are very friendly and knowledgable. We did the shooting package. Alex was our instructor, he was very enthusiastic, very friendly, a great instructor who knows what he is doing. He also gave us recommendations for places to eat around Cairns as it’s our first time here and it was very appreciated. Very nice man!

Amazing collection of tanks, war vehicles and memorabilia. Firing range is unique and excellent. Very knowledgeable staff. Will be back as so much to see

How far is it to the museum from cairns ? & what other family activities are in this area ? Thanks

It is about 15 minutes north of Cairns. Other attractions in the immediate area are Skyrail, Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park and water board park.
