I absolutely love what they have done here. It feels like a real tree house and it makes people stop and appreciate this magnificent tree.

I was so surprised to see that figtree playground on the esplanade walk just near where the cruise ships dock. Remember stopping and thinking when my boys were younger they would have loved to play on this playground.

Park doiminated by a large complicted multi trunked fig tree that gave my 8 yr old granddaughter a couple of hours climbing pleasure. Genreally safe if adults are present - and usually there are several about at popular times

Kids were able to climb the tree and enjoy the playground equipment built around it. It was fantastic for our 7 and 10 year old but younger children may need close supervision. Great things to stretch young imaginations and bodies. Easy and cheap car parking...More

Great playground for kids - they enjoyed running around and having fun. My only concern was the kids could easily run around the playground and come out at a completely different area which made it hard for me to keep a good eye on them...More
