We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would very much recommend it. Esther was a brilliant tour guide, she is vibrant and friendly and kept the group moving so we could include everything. She also made the tour interesting by sharing her knowledge and insights including things to see in the rainforest.

We enjoyed Mossman gorge and the swim/ paddle in the river, the aboriginal ceremony at the heritage centre, the boat trip on the Daintree river where we saw several crocodiles. The lunch at Turtle Rock cafe was very good, then an interesting board walk in the rainforest and visit to Cape Tribulation beach, finally a stop for delicious ice cream then the view at Alexandra lookout. A great day out which included so much.

A good tour. A little rushed but ok. Unfortunately, due to being last on the pick up for the morning, hubby and I couldn’t sit together. People spend alot of money on these tours, I would like to recommend we should be allocated seats. There were about 3 or 4 solo travellers whom were sitting next to each other that weren’t even speaking. We got the single seats that were left. One seat at the front the other right at the back. Lucky for us someone did change seats for us, so we could sit together on our way back to Cairns in the late afternoon.

This was a trip that was recommended for me to do whilst visiting cairns. From the get go our tour guide Esther was warm and welcoming and as a solo traveler put you at ease, I was amazed on this trip how much we covered it was jam packed which was great if your time here is short. The knowledge of Esther and the other tour guides were exceptional and explained things through throughly nothing was too much trouble for them we even took a detour to an ice cream place which I can vouch by saying this was the freshest Ice cream I’ve tasted! Well worth a trip with these guys and I will be back to do it again for sure.

Our coach driver/guide, Clinton, was super. Not only skilled at negotiating the twists and turns of mountain roads, but he was so very knowledgeable about the flora & fauna in the rainforests of Queensland. I rated it a 3 because it’s a very long day, spent mostly in various parts of the rainforest. The smoking ceremony and following talk was very informative. Mossman gorge itself is for the young and brave, as the rocks are slippery and the water is cold. We could have eliminated the 57K each way drive on to Cape Tribulation, as that was just a walk on the beach, with an ocean view of the “Cape” peninsula.

We drove up from Palm Cove and the drive was beautiful.
We drove straight up to Cape Trib - had a coffee and then took our time coming back down, stopping in at an Ice Creamery, taking a few of the board walks on the way, and also stopping at the mount Alexandra lookout and the Daintree Discovery Centre.
Sensationally beautiful easy drive. It’s beautiful country. Beware of the Steve Irwin like wanna-be ranger at the discovery centre. lol

Thank you for your 5 star review and for sharing your wonderful experience. 😊 We are glad that you enjoyed the drive from Palm Cove to Cape Trib and back, and that you had a chance to taste some delicious ice cream, and admire the views from the lookout and the discovery centre. 🍦🌳🌊 It sounds like you had a lot of fun and learned a lot about the Daintree region. 🙌 We also appreciate your sense of humour about the ranger at the discovery centre. 😂 We hope that you will come back again and explore more of the amazing attractions that our area has to offer. 🙏

Wonderful trip except for 2 incidents.
First was seeing the Mosman Sugar Refinery belching black smoke inside the Daintree Heritage area was of concern and disbelief. The second was to see a vessel from Quick Silver returning from a day out on the Great Barrier Reef again belching out black diesel smoke after spending the day explaining to people the importance of maintaining the reef and their contributing to its decay
The heritage area is a bit baffling it’s very important to the general public and visitors but not so much to business of local authorities
