Disappointing tour.
We spent more time in the bus than outside the bus exploring the forest, or visiting the cities.

And what is crazy : they bring you to an ice cream shop, in the middle of nowhere, and say : hey, the ice cream is not included in the tour price, but if you want to you may sure buy one...

The boat tour : a rather big boat, for a short trip (15 min or something like that).

A fantastic day out. Our driver/ guide Roger was very knowledgeable and made the trip very enjoyable. We had heavy rain during the trip but he made sure we didn’t miss any of the sights and experiences. We has to cancel an early trip due to the floods, but this more than made up for it.

Very good! It allows you to see the rainforest differently. I would have loved to see nursery animals especially to protect cassowary their local animal.

This tour was wonderful! We got to see a lot of wildlife, including crocodiles and large spiders. There were many beautiful views at the gorge and lookouts. Our tour guide John was very friendly and knowledgeable.

We booked the tour online. We ended up doing only 3 of the original 7 stops. Apparently it wasnt possible because of the cyklon, but it never said that online and our tourguide only told us just on the way back home, which was way earlier than originally planned. Besides that we know that other tours could go to all the different spots on the same day as us. Nevertheless we had to pay the full price and didn‘t even get half of the tour or were at least informed about the changed travel itinerary. The 1 hour river cruise ended up lasting only 40 minutes and we didnt even got a glance of a crocodile. Really disappointing! Hoping to get at least part of our money back…

Brendan our tour guide undoubtedly made the day an incredible experience. He was so friendly, funny and full of interesting stories & facts.
We couldn’t go to Cape Tribulation because of the impact from Cyclone Jasper but I don’t think this dampened the day.
We went from Cairns -> Rex Lookout -> Port Douglas -> Mossman Gorge -> Daintree River Cruise -> Daintree village for lunch -> Port Douglas -> Cairns.
I feel like we spent a good amount of time at each stop.
The bus was super comfortable & air conditioned the whole time.
The river cruise was really enjoyable, we were lucky enough to see 3 crocs! The guide we had for the boat was hilarious, kind, and you can tell he has a real genuine love and passion for what he does, and the animals/environment.
Again, huge shoutout to Brendan, you made the day!

The trip route had to be changed due to ongoing road closures up north as a result of the typhoon in December, but our hilarious guide Brendon made the trip a very fun experience. We saw beautiful waterfalls, had some delicious ice cream, walked a bit in the Daintree Rainforest, went on a riverboat where we saw two crocodiles (one huge adult and one 2-foot juvenile), had a good lunch, and ended in the gorgeous town of Port Douglas. We were disappointed not to fully get up to Cape Tribulation, but Brendan made up for this with his incredible story-telling skills, humorous tidbits of information about Australia and fabulous music mix of 70s and 80s songs. We won't soon forget the story of Captain Cook and his crew!
