One day outback tour with Gary. Other reviews have covered the detail of the day but just to echo it was jam-packed and value for money. Gary is an excellent guide and this day has been a highlight of our trip to Australia.

Thanks Guys, You were great company and a pleasure to show around
Had a 2 day tour to Chillagoe with a cultured professional top guide and gentleman who is really interested about the region and is a grand connaisseur of Queensland. Always attentive to the guests needs I would recommend Perentie Tours to everyone.
For our sixth wedding anniversary, my husband and I wanted to explore the non-touristy spots in and around Cairns. After some research online, we came across Perentie Tours and decided it would be the perfect fit for us.
We had an excellent time with Gary...More

Found Gary through TA. We wanted a rainforest visit after pickup from Cairns. Gary found me and my family at the airport. All emails were promptly answered. We saw more than the rainforest, Wallabies, small private Zoo, ride on the river...Then Gary dropped us at...More
This tour was absolutely wonderful! Gary takes you up into the mountains to see the tropical rainforest and down into the Outback for a tour of authentic Australia! The curtain fig tree at Yungaburra is jaw-dropping. There are no photographs on the internet that do...More

Crikey Tom, was it really that good?
Thanks for your lovely comments.
I was searching for something to do since the remnants of Cyclone Nora caused havoc and we had 4 tours canceled due to flooding and landslides. I contacted Gary and he was able to take us on a tour with very short notice.
My wife and I had an extra 36 hours following a week of Uluru and SCUBA. Fortunately we were able to spend it with Gary. While we had seen a lot in Australia, it took Gary to show us the spirit, the heart, of Australia....More
If you are looking for an adventurous and personalized tour, you should go with Perentine tour. Although Chillagoe caving tour normally takes two days, our guide Gary customized it for us to 1day tour. Inside the cave was completely dark and it was so much...More
Tour was great! Gary, our guide, was very knowledgeable and friendly. I felt like we got a personalized tour, and he went above and beyond. Saw many unique sights, was even able to see wallabies and kangaroos. Thank you for a great day!
All in a day’s tour if you are the fortunate party touring the out-the-back with Gary! We had a wonderful day with lots of laughs peppered with history and culture. Our son who is 11 became instant buddies with Gary. It’s a tour for all...More

That's a hard one to answer! Basically the tour explores old mining towns but can also include much more (if time allows). There is nothing touristy about the tour but its rather an Australian experience. The 2 day tour is especially interesting with plenty of content. There's a great description of what we do on the website but intimately its up to you.
I know this probably doesn't answer your query but at least you have all the information.
G'Day, Sorry to respond so late to your query. This is a sightseeing tour with very little to no effort required.I have had people with disabilities as well as small children on tour without any issues.
Sorry not to have replied to your questions. Hopefully, you inspected my website and all your queries were answered. Also, hope you enjoyed your visit to Far North Queensland and it lived up to your expectations. Its... More
