Behana Gorge is a must. Whilst it can be a long walk on a hot day the refreshing swim to be had at the end is well worth the time spent walking the asphalt track. You can ride a bike or even skateboard it. The...More

This place is great but you would never find it on your own!!! I did a tour here and I think even with directions I wouldn't have walked it from the car park

We walked up from the car park and found it to be a pretty easy walk with just the final 800meters a bit steep. But it’s a sealed serviced road and pretty easy going. There is a few spots before he end they are not...More

1/2 hour drive from Cairns was a tough but nice walk sheltered for the majority of it. There were quite a few hills but the reward at the end was worth it. The water was cold but we jumped in and had a swim.

We loved Behana Gorge. The walk there is pretty long but the views are gorgeous and the water cold and refreshing. The current was quite strong during our visit and falls were really flowing, but Behana is well worth the walk. Highly recommended.

What a find. Follow the concrete road along an undulating track to a lovely waterfall and lots of swimming holes amid cascades and boulders. Good on a sunny day as the path is under forest canopy and the steep section at the ends means the...More

The first few times I did this walk I thought I was going to die! So unfit. It’s well worth it though and I got better each time. An amazing view and great spot for a swim if you make it to the top. Allow...More

Getting to this waterfall requires a 2 mile hike that goes up a steep pathway. The path itself is more of a road that was tricky to find. We followed our Waze app and weren't sure we were in the right place at first. The...More

Decided to walk this one but will probably run it next time as it’s on a relatively sealed undulating track and only 3.5km to the top. Once there it offers amazing views of the falls and it’s quite easy to climb down to the rocks...More

The path is full of hills and when you get to the gorge there isn't a very smooth path for a pram, pouch would be best
