Good introduction to the GBR. Overview of the reef environment and ecology. 2 hours long but lively presentation. It was perfect before boarding a 3 day live aboard. But, probably too long for young kids. The extent of the knowledge of the presenter was limited too the content of the presentation but still interesting.

Not only that the presentation was informative, it was very entertaining and pleasant. Not necessarily just for divers. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested to know more about corals and fish.

Reef Teach's 2 hour talk (although more like an interactive information evening) should be compulsory for anyone visiting the Great Barrier Reef. These evenings are run by extremely knowledgeable and engaging marine biologists whose passion for the Great Barrier Reef is infectious. No matter your level of knowledge about the Reef and its inhabitants you will learn something new and... More

We went to the Reef Teach talk and the British marine biologist was funny, entertaining and really knew her stuff. It was an eye opener and i would recommend going to the talk before heading out to the reef.

My boyfriend and I had a great time at Reef Teach. Nicole did the presentation that day and she was absolutely hilarious. I like how she switched stereotypical opinions on jellyfish and starfish around. Her passion for the reef wildlife was infectious and the knowledge imparted really helped us get the most out of our trip to the reef. It... More

Thanks for the review. There is so much to the Reef we can't talk about it all in one sitting, although I do try sometimes ;). We do love talking about it. This does mean that no one show is the same. There is always different bits of info being dropped in at different times. so glad you have enjoyed... More

This is a must as it is a fun and interactive way to learn about the reef prior to visiting it. Abbie was wonderful and did an amazing job showing us the different corals and types of fish. It was great for children as well as she passed around real samples and explained the unique relationships between the animals and... More
