For our 5 day liveaboard trip with Pro Dive Cairns, we were recommended Reef Teach on Pro Dive Cairns Trip Advisor reviews. And so glad we did! Small, quaint and very informative, not to mention very funny! You learned the different species of fish that you would see and how to identify them. Were given identification sheets that can go underwater with you. An absolute must and definitely helps you feel more confident on what you are going to see and actually identify species.

I came to Reef Teach because I just arrived to Cairns, and as a dive instructor, I wanted to know more about the GBR. The lesson did not disappoint, tons of useful information, combined with fun facts and a smooth presentation. The marine biologist in charge, Cara, covered all the interesting topics and answered all our questions accurately. I highly recommend this, specially if you find yourself in Cairns for a couple of days and you are planning to go to the Great Barrier Reef. Also, the money goes to the research team, which is awesome. Thanks!

This is a great educational talk about the great barrier Reef. I wish I had done it before my trip out to the reef. Very friendly people and entertaining presentation, and it helps the reef.

This looked like a great value and we were not disappointed! We attended with 8 American university students who are earning university credit learning about business and culture while abroad for a semester. Gareth was extremely welcoming, knowledgable, and engaging. He was very open to questions, and the information shared is going to really enhance our day on the reef scheduled for tomorrow. Most notable was his passion for the reef and sharing his expertise with others. Lots of great stories and jokes and conversations while weaving in some really interesting information that will benefit us on not only on our reef trip but in other aspects of our lives and careers,

We had the most fun and informative evening with Abbie! It was so nice to hang out and learn from someone who is evidently so passionate about the ocean. I would 100% recommend this to anyone diving/snorkelling the GBR!
