Do not take this horrendous tour company. Cost more than $800 for two days trip to Fitzroy and Moore Reef. At Moore reef They told us the semi submarine and glass bottom boat would set out at different times. We missed the semi submarine because we took their crap advice and THEY CHANGED THE TIMINGS AND DID NOT GET THE GLASS BOTTOM BOAT BACK IN TIME. CHEATERS AND POOR COMMS. that was what we really wanted to do this trip. Poor, rip off. Many better reviewed companies out there - stay away from this one.

The Sunlover Reef transfer from Cairns to Fitzroy Island was spacious and quick. The boat drops off passengers to Fitzroy Island first before moving on to the other activities. On the way back, we got confused and queued up for the Fitzroy Island Adventure boat. Just keep an eye out lol

We were picked up by bus from our accommodation in the late afternoon & taken to the river to board the boat. We started down the river with the boat captain offering commentary along the way. We enjoyed beautiful scenery along both sides of the river but the best was yet to come as we returned back the spectacular sunset we witnessed was breathtaking, picture prefect.
When we returned to shore the dinner was well underway & we were able to buy drinks & acquaint ourselves with our fellow tablemates. It was no time & our table called to be served a scrumptious meal & not long after we started to eat, our show began.
Our entertainer was Owen Blundell, who is an extremely talented musician who offers one of the best shows of seen. He plays many interesting instruments perfectly, offers an array of songs, characters & plenty of comedy in the mix. From the reaction of the audience I think he was a big hit!
At the end of the night we were returned to our accommodation. We had an excellent experience on this tour, we thoroughly enjoyed the service offered, the food, the river cruise and the show. I definitely highly recommend this activity to anyone.

Embarking on the Sunlover cruise to Moore Reef in the Great Barrier Reef was an adventure of a lifetime! The highlight of this incredible journey was undoubtedly the impeccable service and guidance provided by Victor and Dylan. Their expertise and enthusiasm transformed our experience into something truly magical.

Victor, with his extensive knowledge of the reef, shared fascinating insights that deepened our appreciation of this natural wonder (Happy Birthday)! Dylan, on the other hand, was the epitome of professionalism and friendliness, ensuring everyone's comfort and safety throughout the trip.

The boat itself was comfortable and well-equipped, making the journey to Moore Reef a pleasure. Once there, we were mesmerized by the stunning underwater world. The clarity of the water and the abundance of marine life were beyond our expectations.

The whole experience was not just a sightseeing tour but an educational journey that left us with a profound respect for marine ecosystems. Sunlover's commitment to sustainability and conservation was evident, adding an enriching layer to our adventure.

I can't recommend this tour enough. Whether you're a marine enthusiast or simply seeking a unique experience, this trip with Sunlover to Moore Reef, especially with the guidance of Victor and Dylan, is an absolute must-do. It's an experience that will stay with you for a lifetime.

I'm extremely disappointed with this cruise and your service. We booked cruise to great barrier reef but we had to get off at Fitzroy island because my grandson and my wife were incredibly sick. The crew left us without snorkeling equipment, without lunch and they didn't even tell us what we could do on this island. It was absolutely ridiculous that we had to paid extra $200 for lunch and had to organized snorkeling equipment ourselves. They should have this equipment on-board in case of a situation like mine. The crew didn’t help in anything and refused to refund request. Whatever you do, don't book with this company. This was very expensive tour, and we feel robbed.

Snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef was fantastic! So many colorful fish of all different sizes! The water was warm and very buoyant! The food was surprisingly good. The boat ride was very rough and Entertaining to watch the staff deposit the barf bags! Was a fabulous day and worth the trip to the platform!

Such a beautiful day on the reef! My friends and I could not have enjoyed it more. The pontoon is in an amazing location with really interesting underwater scenery. Heaps of fish, including some big ones I had never seen before. I felt really safe being inside the netted zone. That was probably the winning factor, knowing I wasn’t swimming too far out, while also being left to my own devises.
The buffet lunch was fantastic and the sun chairs on the top level of the pontoon were perfect for tanning.
Thanks so much Sunlover Reef Cruses! Can’t wait to see you again soon!

Fitzroy Island not to be missed!

A little bit of paradise with the clearest water and beautiful fish and coral to explore.

Be prepared for a bit of a climb on large stones when exploring the route to nudie beach but so worth it!!

This was an amazing day from start to finish well worth the price. Coffee, refreshments & snacks were available to purchase. The boat ride out to Moore Reef was a little choppy but the crew had everything covered from motion sickness tablets to travel sickness bags, if needed. When we arrived at the pontoon at the reef everything was well organised with snorkeling gear & even wet suits if needed.

We enjoyed plenty of time snorkeling the area, my husband was lucky enough to have an underwater photo taken by the photographer. There was also the opportunity to hire an underwater camera which is organised whilst on the boat trip out.

We also enjoyed a wonderful buffet lunch which is included in the tour cost.

There was a glass bottom boat, unfortunately this was not operating until the afternoon so we did not get a chance to do this activity however there was a small submersible boat which we took a ride in & we were able to once again view the reef & it's inhabitants.

My husband & I were disappointed when the time came to leave & head back to Cairns. However we did have one of best days of our holidays, no matter what your age (we are in a mid 60s), & we would definitely recommend this tour as a must do experience for all.
