Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Loved the beach, the snorkelling was great. A bit cloudy, in the water. Saw lots of fish. But it was way better at the other end of beach up past the resort. Saw a turtle, and lots of colourful fish. An amazing day.

Fun walk to beach. Great granite boulders in the surf. Good snorkeling when there. But the entire beach is covered with broken up coral pieces and difficult to walk on in bare feet. Just crossing the beach to put your swim fins on in the water is an ordeal. Lots of shade back from the beach.

A small beach 15 min walk away from the resort. Snorkeling was amazing even when the water was hazy due to rain - dozens of coral species of all colors (many unbleached) in an underwater city fantasia. Also, countless fish... even a small skate. you have to find the best spots, they are not near the beach itself.

We are over 66 and walk was not easy, with many rock steps. Beach is coral so bring foot protection. No water, toilets or life guard services. We snorkeled and saw fish however trips to fiji and pacific islands were more fruitful

A nice beach for swimming. It is clean. Part of the experience is getting there -- a jungle hike over rocks, etc. The beach itself is pretty nice, although the facilities are back near Fitzroy's resort. Shady areas may be limited, though that is probably dependent on the time of day you visit.

Whilst it gets a lot of attention with it's name, and it is a secluded beach on a tropical island.. it's isn't a nudist beach. Sorry to disappoint.
My tip is (depending on the current) is to leave your stuff safely at the resort and walk around to Nudey beach and drift snorkel back to the resort (vice versa depending on current).

Lovely beach and swimming if you can take a chair as it is not a sandy beach but a coral beach , the water is crystal clear and the temp just lovely

Lovely place to take young kids who are okay swimmers and snorklers. Great introduction to the world of the GBR.

Before you get to the beach, one needs to walk quite a lot. One can find better beaches without walking. An ok beach.

Yes it’s a beach .. but a 20 minute quite strenuous walk , that finishes at a nice beach. But it’s a coral beach. Uncomfortable on the feet.
Not much shade.
Nice clear water…. Great views over to the mainland.
Rather swim at the beach in front of the resort
