We had a great day. Brett was very informative about the region, including farming, flora and fauna. The food stops were interesting, giving us a taste of the region's food and wine. He was very much into supporting the region's small businesses, and we felt good in helping them get back on their feet again after Covid lockdowns, by visiting them. The food, wines, coffee and teas were lovely. Some surprising tastes, particularly with the wines. We did feel a bit rushed, but we do understand that Brett was trying to give us a full range of tastes, and it was well worth it. It was a good day.

Brett, our tour guide and driver, for our day trip to the Atherton Tableland food and wine tasting experience, is organised, informative, knowledgeable and fun. My husband and I had a wonderful day visiting new places and tasting different foods and drinks. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Lake Barrine Teahouse, morning tea at Nerada tea plantation with cheese and tea tasting, a tasty platter of Aussie meats and fruit wines at the Platypus Park restaurant, tropical fruit tasting, coffee and delicious scones and local cream at Jacques coffee plantation and so much more. All the food was locally sourced and very tasty. I highly recommend this tour: Brett's local knowledge is impressive and his enthusiasm and his sense of humour makes the whole day out a sheer joy. He is welcoming and caring and takes great pride in showcasing the Atherton tableland and surrounds. 5/5 Thank you Brett.

Not what I expected. Didn’t consider the stops on the trip to be value for money ($230). One of the stops was to a local grocery store where we tasted flavoured nuts; I’m sure anyone passing by could’ve stopped and done the same. Guide was well meaning but also spent a large part of the day of talking about his personal life which my partner and I were uncomfortable listening to. Last stop to a friends property was unnecessary and was intended to be a beer/wine by the creek, but the fridge was basically empty from the day before (4 cans of beer and 1.5 bottles of wine for a group of 10). Overall, this was not a enjoyable experience and I wouldn’t recommend this tour.

What a surprising review compared to the many many 5 star reviews we receive every week.I'm actually confused as the day consists of a breakfast of tropical fruits with wattle seed damper and home made specialty jams and yoghurt with local coffee and tea, followed by 15 tastings of wines, liqueurs and cream liqueurs. The stop at the 'grocery store' is a wonderful store full of local produce made and grown on the Tablelands where the staff present a fruit platter of seasonal tropical fruits to taste and they explain them all, you can then taste the peanuts and macadamia nuts as well if you want to. We see Platypus at the next stop and a lunch of Crocodile sausage rolls, Kangaroo local 'Yabby's", salad, smoked chicken and fish and dragon fruit cider or a local beer. At the Gallo dairy land we have a cheese platter of 6 different cheeses and sample 2 of their handmade chocolates, taste 2 spirits at Mt Uncle distillery and then stop at a private property for home made bruschetta and a wine or beer. The cupboard is always full of stock to replenish. We are sorry that you didn't enjoy the day, but we pride ourselves on giving great value for money which other reviews certainly show, We hope you enjoy the rest of your holiday
