This was a great one day outback tour. Note that you can't see or do much in the Outback in one day and it involves a lot of driving. We went to the Mareebe Wetlands Visitor Center, the Chillagoe caves and old copper mine, a small pub for lunch for Australian hamburger and a stop at Mt Uncle Distillery. Neville... More

We were picked up from our hotel at 7 am and took a looong drive to the Daintree. Once there, we stopped several places: Crocodile river cruise (we saw 1), looped boardwalk nature walk (20 mins), lunch site, fruit and billy tea tasting at the stream, Cape Tribulation quick stop, ice cream stop. They said you might see a Cassowary... More

Hi Jessica Yes unfortunately there is a lot of driving as we do around 350 kilometres for the day while still trying to fit everything in. Unfortunately we cannot bring the Daintree any closer to Cairns. As to the 4 wheel drive track you appreciate a 4wd vehicle when it is pouring rain and everyone else gets stuck in the... More

We went out for the day on tour with Mark an MJ on the other bus, they worked as a team. They provided great narratives on the tour, he cooked up some steak and sausages for lunch and there were other tasty sides. Up in the rain forest we got to take a swim in this beautifully clear creek. It... More

Good rugged trucks that go a bit further than anyone else... Picked up from our hotel in Palm Cove for a day trip up the coast. Lots of interesting things to see via bus and on foot. Neville, our guide, was extremely informative about the history, wildlife and plants etc. Matt was driving a different group but grilled a great... More

My family and I totally enjoyed our Billy Tea Safari to the Daintree Rainforest. Finn was a fantastic guide, who told us so many great stories about the local area and its people. He took us to a lot of interesting places and gave us a delicious tropical fruit and damper feast followed by a spectacular BBQ lunch. Such an... More

Nevel, our guide and driver, picked my husband and I hope at 7 am in front the Hilton in Caines. We proceeded to pick several other people up and then we were off to Port Douglas to get several more. Nevel was knowledgeable about the coastal drive, gave lots of information about the sugar industry and history of the Cook... More

Our naturalist guide Neville, picked us up bright and early outside our hotel in Port Douglas. Our bus was like a Jeep, holding just over a dozen passengers. This tour was fantastic. Everything that was promised in the brochure and more. We were also lucky to see wild life in the form of the elusive Cassowary bird and a baby.... More

This full day tour was a great way to cover a lot of sights. We were picked up at a nearby hotel by our guide, Matthew. After picking up other guests in Cairns and then traveled to Port Douglas to pick up the rest of the guests. Matthew provided wonderful commentary and had a great sense of humor but he... More

Our guide Finley was just outstanding. He had really interesting things to say and stories to tell. A true pro. Still don't understand how he can speak for over 10h straight. Food was really good and we saw allot of wildlife etc.
