Yesterday we went on the tour with Gav who picked us up from cairns. He was very welcoming and on time. The bus was air conditioned and comfortable. Along the tour, we were able to stop at great lookouts and take photos and Gav had a wealth of knowledge about the area. He was incredibly passionate about the importance of the ecosystem and looking after the gorgeous Daintree rainforest. We had lunch at a small cafe which was okay. We’re easy travellers and we’re happy our meals were included. On the river cruise we didn’t get to see a crocodile as it was too hot however on our bus travels through the Daintree we got to see a cassowary which was exciting. We had a great day and enjoyed the company of our fellow travellers and our tour guide.

We were a family of 10, grandparents, teenagers through to a 3 year old. We all loved the Billy Tea Safari. The light Morning Tea was welcomed before taking the river cruise where we spotted crocodiles. Along the Bloomfield Track to a walk in the rainforest.
Our guide Hirani was knowledgable and delivered it well. Hirani pointed things out in the Rainforest for us to look at. We felt safe at all times. The swim in Emmagen Creek to cool off was very welcomed. Lunch was enjoyable and we had a look at Cape Tribulation Beach. The kids really loved their Ice Cream from the Daintree Ice Cream shop. A great day had by all

Absolutely brilliant 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 this is a must do!!! Neville was so friendly and knowledgeable about the areas we went into. We had a fabulous day learning about the Daintree. If you drove yourself you would not learn anywhere near what we learnt today. Small group, personalised, lunch great. Croc tour guide fabulous! Neville is brilliant!

The Lady at Reception at The Blue Lagoon Resort recommended Billy Tea so we went with I & glad we did. Our Tour was on the 29/12/2021 & thoroughly enjoyed the day. Our Pick up was at the Trinity Beach Bus stop & the pick up was on time ( if not early which was even better)
Our tour operator for the day was Himani ( apologies if that is spelt wrong) Before we could even get on the truck, Covid check in with Vaccine Certificate was verified & Mandatory. Off we headed towards the Daintree Rain Forest. Along the way, Himani gave us very informative & knowledgeable of the region. Our first stop was Mossman for a toilet break & a chance to buy some snacks. From there we headed to the Daintree river ferry. Whilst waiting for the ferry, we were able to get out & have a look at around. Over the river we went & headed to our first stop. Now due to the heavy rainfall occurring ( over 60mm in about 3 hours), Himani explained that some of our activities maybe modified or may not be able to happen due to it.
Third stop was the Rain Forest walk. A tad wet but by no means was the information or this aspect of the tour reduced. Himani knows here stuff & we definitely left the area with more knowledge than we arrived with about the rain forest. The scenery & diversity of the fauna & animals. Back on the truck & then we headed to the next part of the tour which was the Bloomfield Track & Emmergen Creek. It was a bit wet for a swim so I just had a bit of a walk in the creek but if it had a bit warmer & not raining it would have been an awesome place for a swim. It's a crocodile safe area so no worries swimming. From there it was back down the Bloomfield track to Cape Tribulation look out & beach. A great place to see the beach & point.
Lunch was at "The Beach House" & I had steak & my partner had Battered Spanish Mackerel. Both meals were very nice. As it was a Bit of a walk from the car park to the Restaurant, Himani said there was a golf buggy back to the car park & i got that for my Partner. Himani's consideration for her clients is second to none. From lunch we went to the ice cream place which was awesome. many different flavours available & very nice. Last stop on the tour was the Daintree River Cruise. A great way to end the day.Our boat operator new his stuff about the river & his knowledge of it got us to see two Crocs. Stopped off at the look out for Double Island. We were back at Trinity Beach by 5pm. It was an awesome day.
Thank you!!!!!

We booked this tour as we have visited Cairns a number of times and were looking for something different to the Reef/beach experience. We were not disappointed, Hirani was the perfect guide friendly and approachable, she provided just enough commentary during the day without being overly intrusive. We were truly able to relax and and take in all the rainforest had to offer. The swim in the river after lunch was a memorable moment to cool off and reconnect and reflect. Thank you to the team we know the past few years have been challenging for all operators in the region, but this has not stopped them from delivering memorable moments. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cairns/Palm Cove/Port Douglas and encourage everyone to support this fantastic local business.

great itinerary and good bus! Our guide Mark was excellent. Though it was a wet day and we didn’t see any crops we still enjoyed it and the ice cream was incredible. The views and water hole were nice. The bus was pretty over booked and not everyone wore masks which was a little uncomfortable. I think due to weather and time to get everyone on the bus it did feel a bit rushed but we loved it none the less.

It was raining which dampened the experience a bit but even then the whole experience with this tour was a waste of time and money. It felt like a unending bus ride. The original itinerary that was advertised and what we booked for was hugely altered. No experience of cape tribulation and aboriginal culture or fruit tasting. We were taken to a different creek than what was on the itinerary! Practically no time on cape tribulation beach! River cruise was simply focused on crocodile hunting!! Food was very average, tour guide was dull and rushed everywhere!! We were really looking forward to the tour and experiencing and walks in rainforests as recommended by my sister but I choose the wrong tour provider.
