Stumbled on this info centre, very hidden, the opinionated attendant put us off totally!!!
Jan. 2017 • Couples
Didn't know this was here and I live not too far away. I mentioned this to the lady there and a very frosty I didn't know what I was talking about ensued.... trying to be helpful was not responded to in kind.... it was a beautiful hot day and we were the only people there... say no more.....
Very easy to walk right past, it was only because we went into the establishment sharing the doorway that we noticed this info centre was there.... right out on a wharf which you only see if walking past.
I wanted to really explore its offerings but after the frostiness of the attendant I grabbed one brochure and left, stopped by the attendant wanting our details for tourism Queensland, but again frostily not with a happy disposition.
Ive been to many info centres all over the world and I've found the happy, wanting to help type of people are the ones you gravitate too and learn the most from, so you get to experience more of the area due to this, which is what the tourism board wants surely.....
