Understand that this trip was at peak holiday season..The boat is very nice and the crew great. The whole area around the wrecks was very crowded w boats due to the season. So, massive numbers of people in the water. The crew did a good job considering they were looking after like 75 people in the water per shift. The boat was pretty full so they split us into 2 groups. Each group had approximately one hour in the water, which was sufficient. Snorkeling was OK, nothing over the top but still enjoyable. Did see a few turtles and a Dugong from the boat. Not much else out there sea life wise, but hey, I've seen so much elsewhere in the world. The lunch was good. Downsides: I've thrown away better snorkel gear. There are no freshwater showers on board despite what the brochure says. Our Aussie friends were disappointed by lack of an afternoon tea. Apparently they had no hot water left. There were only 3 heads on board which double as changing rooms. Don't know the exact # of pax but I'm thinking 150+ so that's 50 per toilet/changing room. Need another 2-3 rooms. You can walk on the beach but you cannot go down the beach towards the Moreton Island Resort as that is private property. Not much to do on the beach except swim and hang. They spend a lot of time (maybe an hour) retrieving and then anchoring the snorkel boat which is kept elsewhere.. That time really belongs to the clients and should be spent looking for wildlife. OK trip but probably worth more like $120 AUD.

This day trip was fantastic, we had 2 first time snorkelling children (9 and 6) and Jill or as my daughter called her ‘the fish expert’ did a wonderful job of making my youngest feel welcome, safe, secure and entertained. The staff were super friendly and knew what they were doing but also looked like they loved what they did too.
The snorkel itself was fun and informative and the paddle boards and kayaks on the beach were a hit too.
The Buffett lunch was really good with a great range of options, There are chips, sweets and drinks that can be purchased on board. However, if your kids are a bit picky with food I would recommend taking some extra ‘healthy’ snacks as this was a life saver for my two as all the delicious salads they wouldn’t eat. The hotel transfer to and from the Gold Coast was pleasant and easy. I would definitely recommend this tour if you have just one day to spend visiting Moreton island.

It's great to hear that the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. It's also fantastic to hear that Jill made your youngest feel safe and entertained while snorkeling. To be very clear: we enjoyed this trip and had a good time, but at this price point, there’s definitely room for improvement.

1. Snorkeling: about 45 minutes of the trip. Do not come expecting the Great Barrier Reef. You’re here to snorkel the shipwrecks that have become small reefs. We saw a number of fish and corals, but this is not Finding Nemo. This is not at all a complaint, just clarification. The snorkeling itself was great, good water visibility, strong but easy to navigate current. Beaches were pristine, snorkel equipment in good repair. Our biggest complaint is the etiquette of the other passengers, particularly a large number of first-time snorkelers. While the charter obviously cannot control the actions of individuals, I think this could be corrected with some additional education on self awareness when snorkeling. This could also be improved with smaller groups - there were too many people for the size of the wrecks and the speed at which we were moved along. Unaware passengers were constantly swimming directly into us, kicking us, etc because they couldn’t be bothered to look what they were doing. As experienced snorkelers, this was frustrating but not necessarily the fault of the crew/charter.

2. Food: the prawns were AMAZING and cole slaw was good, but we didn’t much care for the rest. It’s a cold lunch. Come prepared to purchase expensive drinks, as the only complimentary drinks are hot coffee, hot tea, and tiny cups of lukewarm tap water.

Wonderful experience with the team on See Moreton, friendly, knowledgeable and witty. We snorkelled around the wrecks on Tangalooma and saw so many fish, dolphins, sea turtles, dugongs, sting ray and star fish, then we got free time on the beautiful beach. Plenty of food for lunch, as well as, coffee and muffin on arrival and fruit after lunch. Happy hour started when we got back on the boat to come home, the frozen cocktail was delicious

I grew up in Brisbane and was familiar with Moreton island, but have not been out there for a very long time, and have never been snorkelling. This was just a fantastic trip to see some more of my own part of the world. I went with my adult children (mid 20’s), spending the day together for the first time in over a year. The weather was perfect, the water was crystal clear and Captain Wayne made sure we got to see as much as possible - the turtles, stingrays, dolphins, Doug the Dugong, and of course snorkelling around the wrecks with thousands of brightly coloured fish and sea creatures. Lunch on board was delicious and plentiful. We travelled from the Gold Coast and it was an easy drive, with good parking available. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable day, which is highly recommended for visitors and locals alike. Special mention to Georgia who is an incredibly hard working and happy crew member. Holidaying at home can be surprising.

We booked this tour as the highlight of our Brosbane holiday. It was cancelled twice, the first time the day before and the second time the morning of the trip. We were very disappointed and wonder if it has to do with the tour not having enough participants. Thankfully we saw the text message before ordering an Uber and making our way to the hotel pick up. Even if it was because of the wind they should've given a heads up the night BEFORE!

We understand how frustrating it can be when plans change at the last minute, and we're committed to doing everything we can to ensure that our customers have a positive experience. Went on this tour very excited and couldn't wait to see the tangalooma wrecks everything was pretty good, until we got into water too snorkel, so we got in and I would say at least 30 people were in the group, it was far too much for the activity, everybody was on top of eachother and getting kicked and pushed while swimming, 5 minutes into the snorkel my partner was pulled onto the wreck by somebody who had gotten too close and wasn't a strong or confident swimmer! This shouldn't be allowed as soon as they hit the water you could see there was absolutely no water confidence with at least 5 people who were in the same group. One had too stay with an instructor for the whole trip which compromised her as an active safety person in the water with us! We alerted the guide in the boat to which said you'll be grand it'll be sorted on the boat when you get back on. Once we were back on the boat she asked for benadene as the cuts were bleeding significantly, too which she was told sit down until everybody is on the boat, at this point there was one person on the collection boat and 3 in the water. Once everybody was on the boat it still took time and a headcount took place by two people instead of one person attending too people with cuts!. As we got back too the boat and had lunch my partner asked if she could go too the beach because her leg was pretty bad and wondered could she go in the water, response was well it happened in the water you'll be fine. Fast forward she asked for more benadene and the person who manned the boat saw and said I didn't realise it was that bad! Some more benadene applied and swiftly forgotten about. Once home and a bit uncomfortable about what had happened seeked out advice as what too do with her leg as none was given only keep it clean you'll be fine! Turns out it wasn't fine and required a tetanus. The moral here is that this was just completely preventable, proper distribution of staff and prompt and capable medical ethicate should have been used. If people can't swim this should be recognised by the staff who are "trained" to spot and decide whether they should be pulled from the snorkel and the group should also not have been so large, 30 people into a snorkel was not good. Time in the water shouldn't be prioritised over water safety. When health and safety is apparently the number one priority.

The staff and captain were amazing with explaining things and pointing out wildlife to us. Lunch was great. We had enough beach time to kayak/ snorkel leisurely but not so much that we were bored, and we got back to the marina at a reasonable time. The staff also told us that Moreton island is where Scooby Doo Spooky Island was filmed, I love the movie but didn’t know this so that was an awesome surprise for us!

Lovely day out saw a pod of dolphins and a couple of turtles. The tangalooma shipwrecks was full of colourful fish, the shipwrecks are very sharp so gloves provided. There was 3 guards in the water with us on front back and in the middle so felt safe. We got 45 mins snorkeling so plenty of time. All in all a really enjoyable day!

Amazing tour from start to finish. Crew giving all the attention and care, starting with a great breakfast. On the way to the island, the captain stopped to show dolphins.
The crew began to explain how the day would be organized. The crew member Carol was extremely friendly and careful, giving all the safety tips for us to have a better experience.
During the snorkel we had 3 crew members taking care of the entire trip. Well served lunch, fun day at the beach! And on the way back, lots of marine life!
I loved the organization of See Moreton and the experience I had! If I return to Brisbane I will do this tour again!
