Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Oh, the number of times I ran across the bridge from the Meriton hotel and back. Just what you would expect from a bridge. Has multiple water taps along the way and a few seating places to have a rest mid-run. It also offers a beautiful view of the Southbank parklands during the night.

This is a walking bridge over the river to Southbank and is a good way to walk across to the southern side. As with many walkways in Brisbane, the cyclists are nuts - we wish they would just SLOW DOWN! Share the path please cyclists.

This pedestrian bridge links the botanical gardens to the south bank parklands.
It is nice and easy to spot on both sides and walking over is nice - there are clear signs all around, multiple viewing platforms, shaded areas, bins and information available.
The bridge is for pedestrians as well as bikes, scooters etc too so if you are walking you need to stick to the outskirts while the riders stick to the inside.
It’s definitely worth a see if you are walking around the area as it’s more scenic than your average vehicle bridge.

The Goodwill Bridge is a pedestrian crossing over the Brisbane River. This links the area near Riverstage and the southern end of South Bank. It has dedicated foot and cycle lanes.

It looks alright and it gets you across the river right at the maritime museum and the southern part of south bank. It's got a few seats and a coffee cart. Watch out for the cyclists.

When we go to South Bank we always include a walk across thie Goodwill Bridge depending on the time of day and the weather we sometimes get the train to Central and walk across to South Bank getting a return train from there or visa-versa. There are great views from the bridge.

This connects the CBD with Southbank. Vehicles pass across on this bridge . There are proper pathway for the pedestrians, at certain spots there are higher fence to protect any accidents. Nice pathway to have a good walk.

Rather than getting the ferry back to the Southbank we opted for the Goodwill Bridge. Glad we did as its easy to navigate and gives you some great views all around the city.
Even if you don’t have a particular place to go to its worth having a meander over this bridge.
Try to check it out at evening it nightime as the big snowy gum trees are beautifully illuminated.

This footbridge enables walkers to move around the river banks through the old botanical gardens and cross to the Southbank parklands near the Maritime museum. There is even a café half way across and the views are spectacular. It is an easy walk and most enjoyable.
