As a single older woman, I had the best time. Dave and crew were fun, friendly and especially helpful to a novice like me. I can’t recommend this experience enough!

My son and I had an amazing day catching multiple fish, including a giant 1.4 metre Mahi Mahi (DolphinFish).

The Crew and Skipper were very friendly and helpful. They know all the best spots to catch fish, quickly moving on to the next if the fish stop biting.

The icing on the cake was getting to take this delicious fresh fish home. (Amazing when beer battered) 😋

We are definatley looking forward to our next trip with Frenzy Charters, possible a private charter for my staff and I.

Thanks again for this amazing experience team.

Cheers,
Steve and Cole (Son) 😁👍🤙

All good, it felt like we were in good hands upon boarding as usual. Friendly banter and very relaxed atmosphere despite the nippy temperatures around some instant coffee and a toast - exactly what I moved my family here to QLD from Victoria (The Place to HAVE BEEN before it switched to becoming TOWARDS 2000 and then EDUCATIONAL...can't beat that slogan, can you?) 20+ years ago. That said this would have been my 5th trip with Gary and his seasonal deckhand, the former having just returned from a 6 (or more) week European cruise (what's that again? please remind me?). Following on from our first trip being unfortunately aborted a week earlier within 800 metres of launch by barnacles having, in Gary's longish absence, clogged the propeller shaft/trim mechanism. We were promptly reconvened within the next week, to a fully serviced vessel and were out on our way at the crack of dawn at sparrow's fart as they call it down south and elsewhere. The usual pre-dawn choppy (to say the least) ride through the pass between North Stradbroke and South Moreton Islands saw the most vulnerable amongst us spilling their respective guts. Fortunately the smell of diesel and the sometimes (often) brutal rocking motion having us resorting to solid anchor points, serendipitously helped keep our minds off the momentary unpleasant sights and sounds. Soon enough we were out of the 'war zone' and back into calmer seas... all the way out to the nearest FAD (Fish Aggregating Device) around 2 hours from that distant/initial Styrofoam instant coffee as the sun rose over Australia. At this precise location in the middle of nowhere, we 'stumbled upon - with GPS/SatNav engaged- a huge school of Mahi Mahi/Dorado/Dolphin Fish - call it what you may, it's the same thing- who seemed to be as keen on an early breakfast as Paul next door and his trusty Webber, and we made sure all 49 of them we hooked had an end of life experience no other piscatorial being would ever come to know about. Following this quasi-biblical episode, we settled for half a dozen deep sea reef fishing spots where the usual regulatory Snapper/Moses Perch/Parrot Fish were diligently added to the ice box, paling in comparison with out huge mahi mahi haul bagged earlier. After this eventful and satisfying day, we made our way back through much calmer seas past Gillighan island and its squad of resident dugongs greeting us back to relative stability and welcoming freezers. Thanks Gary and team, we'll be back for more! (Vincent D)

Gary and Noelle combined to make this my best fishing charter experience in this country. Been on many half day trips stretching from Mooloolaba to Eden and never returned this satisfied. Departed on time and reached the first fishing grounds after 2 hours, had around 30 plus fishes in the first hour or so. Then we returned back making many pit stops and catching fishes along the way. Fishes caught include Mahi Madi aka Dolphin fish (60%) Snapper, Moses Perch, Sweetlip, Red Emperor, Pink Tuskfish, Pearl perch etc. Everyone went home with a good amount of bagged fish. Don't be worried about paying $245 .... you may get half day charters for way half the price but you wont even catch 10% of what we caught on the trip. It comes from someone who did this the first time and previously been only on half day charters.
Excellent fishing knowledge and friendly conversations. Will be back soon fellas :)

Just had an awesome day out with Gary and Blue. Very quite day with the fish but the captain worked extremely hard to get us into some good fish by moving around to numerous different reefs. Great spacious boat with everything that you need. Blue is a real rough diamond but an absolute character, just don’t let him catch you with banana’s or they most likely end up at the bottom of Moreton bay😂

What a great day out with the Frenzy crew. I was in Brisbane alone for a weekend whilst on a business trip and fancied a spot of fishing.

The skipper and crew were great, really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The whole trip went smoothly. The skipper knows the good spots to fish and can tell when one is not going to produce maximising time over the good marks.

Great boat with plenty of shade and better facilities than many I have been on.

I've been on a number of different fishing charters out of the gold coast over the last 7 years and never caught a thing.
I decided to change approach on Saturday and went up to Manly to join Gary and Blu on Frenzy charters, and I am glad I did.
Gary and Blu worked hard all day to get us on the fish and by the time we returned everyone on board had a full bag of fish( including me).
I would highly recommend Frenzy charters to anyone who actually wants to catch fish on a fishing charter.
Thanks guys.
