I'm sorry to spoil the perception but these aren't direct factory outlets with the majority of items at full retail price. You can pick up bargains but they're more dumping grounds for last seasons stock. The name is very misleading.

Numerous shops with very good discounts and quality merchandise, as well as plenty of eateries- suitable for everyone's taste!

Like DFO outlets in Melb and Sydney invariably you come across the odd bargain or 2. Typically end of lines / season stuff but still not too bad. Prefer Harbourtown.

It is a lot bigger and has a lot more outlets. Some really good deals. Plenty of food outlets and places to sit and rest lol. Plenty of parking and free unlike Westfields. Well laid out and asy to navigate

In a really great location that's not far from the Brizzy airport. They have heaps and heaps of shops inside ranging from high end brands to general fashion brands. They always have really good sales on and the prices are so much cheaper than other stores. This is a great place to go if you want discounts on shoes especially. They didn't have a very big food court however though - just a handful of shops in the actual food court and then 5/6 restaurant-type areas just outside to eat.

So many sales, helpful staff & so many shops to buy things from. Can be very busy But don't park where you have to pay, you get 4 hrs free all over the place you just might have to hop skip & jump it instead of stroll right in. Saved heaps of money whilst shopping here.

We called in for s quick look and emerged 4 hours later with loads of shopping. A cross between Harbour Town and a shopping centre with sales ranging from 30-70%. Most of the big names are here. Loads of on site free parking and lots of options for eating. Great day! Plan to spend half to a whole day here! Highly recommended!

Why:
Stopped in here on my way back from an overseas trip to get lunch and do some shopping.
Pros:
Location is great and the place is huge. A good food court and a fantastic array of shops. Good prices and great specials always going on.
Cons:
When DFO started out many years ago it was a place to get end of run wares and items that were not selling in their retail outlets. DFO has now become a retail outlet in itself and although some great specials it is more like a large shopping outlet where you have to fight to find great specials rather than the companies using the outlet for what it was originally designed for.
Tip/Comment:
Hunt for specials and don’t be disappointed if you don’t find anything you are looking for, it may be there next time you visit.

While a number of the retailers change from time to time, always guaranteed to find a bargain and some great purchases. Lot's of onsite parking, so even on the Big Brand sale days, you can find a spot. Even the food court looks and feels much nicer than any other DFO's I have visited.

Must say I was very disappointed in the DFO Brisbane Airport as the shopping is nowhere near that of Harbour Town on the Gold Coast. There are a number of empty shops or shops being renovated and those that were I thought expensive for a supposed factory outlet. The food court is unpleasant, over crowded, dirty and lacking in amenities plus the food is over priced - it's the first time I have eaten at a Subway and felt ill afterwards! In other words don't bother with the whole experience as not worth the time or effort.

Can you leave suitcases any were as we have 7hours to wait for our flight

LUGGAGE STORAGE LOCKERS
Luggage lockers are located at the Puma end of the centre (near Converse & Crocs). These lockers are accessible during centre trading hours and the hire fee can be paid by credit card only.  Locker hire fee is $15. This facility is provided by RENT A LOCKER

Woolworths is open 24hrs in the Area also. Plenty of hot food available from their Deli

In the Calvin Klein store, do they stock new stuff or only old season clothes?

They stock both new season and old season, but seems to be a limited stock, not what you'd see in every store. A bit hit and miss as it is a clearance store. I wouldn't go there for a specific item or range unless I contacted the stor first to see if they have it on store...
