Good beachside location with great playground and picnic spots. Also has toilets. There is a board walk which is an easy walk, or at low tide walk out on the mud flats and enjoy the views to the north.
Grab a picnic, a ball and a group of friends and kids. What a great wee location with playgrounds and plenty of space to run around. So close to Brisbane. Would recommend this wee place.

I enjoy spending an afternoon at Nudgee beach especially if I leave work a bit early and time a visit with low tide. If you're expecting a beach with sand and waves, this is NOT the beach for you. The afternoon sea breezes are a...More
Nudgee beach is a little like going to a day spa; the ripples in the sand provide a therapeutic foot massage and the warm water melts your worries away. For those familiar with hot water beach in NZ, the temperature is similar with the added...More
This place isn't your usual beach as you wont get the crashing waves, surfers, sun baking in bikinis or swimmers.

I go to Nudgee Beach at least once a month just to get quiet. It is a great place just to walk through the park, the mudflats, raised mangrove walk, or sit in the park or on the beach and just watch and dream

Sorry Maree. . Nudgee Beach is the name given to an area of wetlands on Moreton Bay surrounded by native bird habitat and mud flats .. a great place to visit with lots of excellent public amenities such as walkways, cycleways, picnic area/public toilets etc. Public transport available (bus) - no swimming areas as such, good estuary fishing, crabbing etc. - small village of Nudgee Beach nearby has an excellent cafe with great coffee .. great place to visit but very little to no accommodation locally .. hire car or bus access .. some beautiful photo opportunities of Moreton Bay
.. remember to slip, slop, slap - wear biting insect protection and advisable to be gone by sunset - the midges will carry you away in the summer.
