Absolutely mind blowing the amount of imagination brought to life here. From the very first moment you arrive it's just pure immersion and suddenly you're no longer just someone who wants to play an escape room, but you are now apart of the story and play as it unfolds!

So much fun. Great storyline and incredible setting. Lots of complexity to the concepts and imaginative staging. As a first time escape room, it was awesome.

Well if you want a full interactive escape room experience then this is definitely a must do escape room in Brisbane. The creative aspect and interaction is great as well as the story line. The theming and set design has had a lot of thought behind it. Well done to the creators

Project Immersive delivered on exactly what they say – immersive!
After playing their brand new room, Area 1, our team really felt like we transported in to another world. It felt like being in a half-life game (minus the brain sucking aliens).
I wouldn’t call this an escape room as much as I’d call it an adventure room.
At first we weren’t sure we were in the right place but the old paint factory acts as a perfect location to feel like you have stumbled across a secret experimental lab. Even the briefing room felt like it was all a part of the immersion. Our game master Damian was really lovely and did a great job in his role as Dr Waylan.
This escape room is quite unique, and different from your typical ‘kit’ escape rooms out there. You can tell the team who put this room together have a true passion for adventure, engineering and escape rooms and brought all of their skills together to create this amazing room.
This room isn’t about finding codes to unlock padlocks to find the final key or exit button. This room is about taking you on a journey, following their story to feel like you are in fact a part of the scientific team. There is no strict time limit either, this takes away the panic of racing against the clock and instead allows you to get fully immersed in the adventure to complete the final task.
It’s one of the few escape rooms I’ve done, that I continued to think about days after completing it.
There are some incredibly well made and unique puzzles with nothing being too difficult, but does take a bit of problem solving and creativity to figure out. There are both the verbal and written instructions that guide you along the way, which will need to be followed. It’s not one of those ‘figure it out’ type rooms, you have to follow the story.
Being a newly built room and company, there were still a few things that they are ‘tweaking’ along the way and are happy to receive constructive feedback to improve for future players. I really appreciated this, and have provided feedback to the owners already.
Take note, the room is quite warm inside, is dark, has flashing lights and loud noises. If you have any sensory issues or get headaches easily, I would not recommend this room. It is not scary, nor has any jump scares. It is an alternate dimension/science based room, NO paranormal or spirit themes.
I highly recommend Project Immersive to both beginners and experienced players alike. A team of 2 can solve this room if you are reasonably savvy to how escape rooms work and are good puzzle solvers. Otherwise I’d say a team of 3-4 players is best suited.
It is truly a unique experience you won’t get anywhere else and this amazing team deserve all the support. Go check them out!

Honestly, I think this is the most immersive escape room in Brisbane. I have played over 180 games now and actually own an escape room myself (not this one). This has to be my new favourite in Brisbane, comparable to some of the best games I've played, in Sydney, Melbourne, and Canberra.

I brought my staff to Project Immersive last night, and the game began at the front door, as we were escorted in, told the story completely in theme, and then entered the hallway into The Portal...

The old paint factory was utilised to create a truly authentic, sci-fi experience. The set design was honestly amazing. I've rarely seen anything like it.

The soundscape and lighting were intense, fully bringing you into the story.

The puzzles were so well designed to make the story flow, it was brilliant.

The tech was fun and unique, Some of which I've never seen before in an escape room 🤯

Every one of my staff - most who have played a lot of escape rooms before - were absolutely blown away by the experience.

I highly recommend Project Immersive. You've never done an escape rooms like this before...
