The south east corner of Queensland and Northern Rivers area of New South Wales offers some of Australia’s unique places to visit. We had a spare day in Brisbane that needed filling and booked this last minute.
Trevor picked us up at 7am and his enthusasm for his job, driving, his daughter and his home city of Brisbane, along with his knowledge of surrounding areas both outside of Brisbane and around the world made this one of the highlights of our recent trip to Australia.
The itinerary was packed, varied and was totally open ended due to making our own decisions on how long we should be at each place. The places on the itinary were draw dropping and well worth your time, however Trevor took us to some of his favourite spots along the Gold Coast which were even better!
Thank you for your time and for a fabulous day out, this is the best tour currently available in Brisbane!

Had a great day,saw amazing coastline and delightful towns. Trevor was such a lovely guide, very informative , knowledgeable,and enjoyable company. Car was immaculate and we felt very safe.

This tour was exceptional. Not only were the sights beautiful, but our driver was capable and welcoming. In a very short time, we felt like we were traveling with an old friend. And luckily for is, his wife was able to join us and she added to the camaraderie. We loved everything about the tour and recommend it highly. If we return to Brisbane, we’ll book with Dear Australia without hesitation. Thank you for a wonderful day, Trevor and Tracy!

Trevor is an excellent host/tour guide. He has abundant knowledge of the area and is flexible about times and destinations to accommodate those on the tour. He has great advice for the "free time" on the tour at the various stops including food choices. It's a perfect balance of information and freedom to peruse independently. The vehicle is pristine and comfortable with the added bonus of wifi to upload and connect on the tour!

It was a really big day of sightseeing and chatting and eating. Trevor was very friendly and relaxed but kept things moving. We made a number of stops - for sightseeing, food (and comfort stops!) The itinerary was quite varied - a farm with cafe that produces its own fresh and tasty food, some beautiful white sand beaches, the Byron Bay Lighthouse with a great coast walk through a National Park... we were lucky with our timing too and even saw some whales far out to sea from the various lookouts and I can now say I’ve stood at the most eastern point of Australia! We all went our different ways in Byron itself and ate or shopped, walked on the beach or just looked as we had enough time to just wander round at a peaceful pace. On the way back we called in to equally laid back Bangalow and had an afternoon coffee. Lots of interesting little shops to poke in as well as soaking up the old world country charm and later driving through the hills inland saw some amazing views and beautiful Australian landscapes. It was a great relaxing way to see more of Australia.

Had a wonderful day exploring the Gold Coast, cape bryon lighthouse, the farm, surfer paradise. The roadside bananas were a sweet surprise . Wished we could stay longer! Kudos to our leader as he braved the weather and kept us truly entertained.

Welcoming, informative & professional. A clean, tidy, modern & comfortable minibus. Great communcation. Great day, plenty of stops (your not sat on bus all day), incl a stop in Bangalow to really give you a feel for a typical town in NSW. The Farm stop does good coffee & chocolate donuts!
I had left a bag on the minibus, and Trevor went above & beyond to help return this to me, whilst I travelled the east coast! So thankful. Thank you Trevor
