I wouldn’t recommend visiting if you’re a tourist. Our screening was cancelled due to a storm approaching as we were sitting waiting for the film to begin (understandably) BUT the terms of sale state that if a screening is cancelled, refunds aren’t possible and you can only receive credit to attend a different date — this is obviously fine if you live in Brisbane but we were flying home the next day. The only option we were offered was to give the credit to a friend but we don’t have any friends in Brisbane unfortunately!

Great venue with clear and easy levels to sit on.
Sound and visibility of movie was great.
Easy to find with event signs up through the park and good partnership with secure parking facilities near by.
Really friendly team working. Even the security guard was lovely.
Love that you can bring in all your own picnic food and non alcoholic options. Means you can keep the costs down.
Would definitely go again.

Be mindful that if you book Connoisseur seats, the director chairs are right up the back of the amphitheatre. Not ideal, especially as Gold Class is only $2 more per person. Different set up to 2018.

Rubbish. I am writing this while waiting for our dinner. I got bored, reset my pasword, looked at the clock and realized it’s been over 30 minutes. They’re now just calling random people and asking them what they ordered! I’m defiantly going to miss the start of the movie, don’t expect they can competently full orders.

My daughter and I came here to watch Aquaman . She cannot handle the sensory of a normal cinema and apparently not an outdoor either . However if you don’t have a hyper toddler like me then this is perfect . What a setting . The bats come out at dusk and fly over the screen . It’s really cool . They have some nice food and drinks in the menu . If you pay for the gold crass bean bag seats , they bring your food to you . I hope to come again , perhaps in another city .

I have been to Moonlight cinema in Sydney and when it was Brisbane in New Farm and I much prefer The Roma st experience, the ampietheatre was great, it made viewing easy. We went on a thursday night and it wasnt too crowded. Nice chioce of drinks and food, you can also bring your own food except alcohol.
The staff were friendly and helpful, there was a brief shower at the start of the mpvie, the staff iformed us they check the weather radar and it will be gone in a minute, which was correct.
