Spent time at and near the Eagle Street Pier in January 2022 and walked from there into the city. The Eagle Street Pier is the closest point to the city when travelling by ferry. A lovely ferry ride along the river as well!

There are world class dining options and stunning views of the Brisbane River and Story Bridge and moored alongside the pier is the Paddle-steamer, Kookaburra Queen. We enjoyed our lunch at Rico Bar & Dining and relaxed as we enjoyed the views and ambience. A nice stroll along the boardwalk to Riverside to catch the City Cat. Beautiful area.

Again Eagle St Pier never disappoints with amazing views across the river & such a pleasure to take a stroll along the water front with many restaurants to choose along the way. Time for a ferry ride & enjoy Brisbane river scenery during our last two days in Brisbane from Cairns on 08/09/21.

Eagle Street Pier is located waterfront on the Brisbane River in the CBD and home to many bars and restaurants.
Many of the restaurants and bars here have great views of the Brisbane River and Story Bridge. One will also see the Paddlesteamer Kookaburra Queen moored here and can jump on to the Citycat Ferry.
Eagle Street Pier was constructed in 1989 and back in the 1800s it served as Brisbane’s main wharves for a developing city.
Great location to visit.

Stunning views while enjoying our first visit around Eagle Street Pier on Sunday 03/01/21, appears to be a busy area attracting many locals & visitors. Cafes & Restaurants within the area for all tastes & budgets. River scenic cruises easily booked from Eagle Street Pier.

A restaurant for most budgets and great location by the river. Be aware of cyclists. The City Hooper Ferry has a 'station' there too. Great to walk along the paths from gardens, under the Story Bridge then beside but over the river.

Brisbane's CBD best business and nightlife pier. Lots of working companies, businessmen and employees during the day, families, couples, youths, locals and tourists flooding the whole area during the afternoon till night. Some of Brisbane's most interesting restaurants and bars are situated here and worth a visit. You can have beautiful views of Story Bridge and the riverside area from Eagle Street Pier. Easily to find by public bus or boat transportation.
