This area severely damaged during the last floods. Now come back as good if not better than before. Great venues to either sit and have good meals or just a coffee and relax - right on the river front and near the river cat terminal. Been there a couple of times and would highly recommend it

We went to eagle pier at night and found it packed with lots of locals dining or having drinks with their friends at the many cafes and restaurants located here. This place appears to be a popular upmarket hangout for the local adults, enjoying a night out with their friends or their partners and families. The night view across the... More

An easy walk from most Brisbane hotels, you can see the Story bridge, eat at a number of restaurants, or stroll along the Brisbane river.

Went to Bavarian beer cafe and had a window table. Friendly service. The mixed platter was very good. It gave us the chance to taste various aspects of the menu. Boutique beer went well with the meal. Worth a visit

I got on and off the CityHooper at this stop, and whilst the area may be in need of a facelift, it was certainly buzzing at just before lunchtime when I was there. Lots of places to grab a light lunch.coffee or drink, and was lovely to stroll along the boardwalk, taking in the the views of the Brisbane River.

Our favourite is Georges Paragon. It has half price lunches - also half price if you order before 6 p,m. Great atmosphere, great food.

In my opinion night time is the best time to come here as the city reflects off the brisbane river. The walkway is nice for an evening romantic walk. There are many restaurants along here all serving great food.

Very tired looking area. we visited on a Friday afternoon around 3 pm for a drink as we had read about the area having a vibrant feel. No vibrant feel was found here.Yes you could see the river & the bridge but by day not very inspiring. South bank much more interesting & vibrant,

Had breakfast here. Numerous places to eat with good river views. The Coffee Club did a really good 'full English' breakfast.
