Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Really enjoyed this experience. Be warned though - the pod dissolves time. My one hour seemed to disappear in about 20 minutes!! :) :)
Loved it and would do it again.
Also experienced the bio mat.

This was my first visit and was apprehensive. Once I learnt to relax in the pod, I enjoyed it temendously and actually fell asleep for a while without drowning!! Was wondering if one hour was too long, but was definitely too long. Highly recommended.

What a woundeful and great experience. The place was well managed and the staff are very help full. As it was my first visit i was shown how it all worked and left to get on with the float bath. The place is well looked after and very relaxing to be there. I can't wait till my next one and highly recommend the Float Space.

I had a wonderful experience at the Float Space (West End). I had a package featuring infra-red sauna, float and massage. The staff on duty (Celine and Rosie) were very friendly and welcoming, they made really helped add to the calm and lovely environment. Everything was very clean and all of my appointments ran smoothly. The sauna, float and massage were all of a very high quality and I left feeling very relaxed and pampered :)

First time at the Float Space and it was great, the facilities were very good and staff were exceptional. The girl (sorry I forgot here name) that looked after explained everything and was very helpful. Can’t wait to go back again and I have recommended to my friends and family.

I booked this on the spur of the moment. I bought the 40 minute infrared sauna pack and the 1 hour float. I have inflammatory spondyloarthritis and hashimotos hypothyroid. I have a fair degree of pain most days. My inflammation is high. I had read information on the hypothyroid forums that the infrared sauna is great for thyroid function. And I'd also heard that the epsom salt baths is great for arthritis. So I decided to combine the two.

I wasn't sure what to expect. Bess helped me go through how the experience would play out and was very helpful. I started with the sauna. I'm not a fan of heat, but somehow this was tolerable. Seeing the timer tick down, and having the option of listening to music was helpful. I was surprised at how much I perspired. I took a water bottle in and definitely needed it.

Afterwards I had a shower in the float tank room, and got in. Definitely the pre-video was a must do, and helped me understand what to expect. The feeling of zero gravity was wonderful, and for the first time in a long time I felt no stress on my joints.

I left feeling euphoric. It's weird. But delicious. And over the last few days have noticed how well I am moving.

I'll definitely go back and try and incorporate it into my regular routine. It's really had an effect on relaxing the muscles around my shoulders and neck, which is where I struggle.

Thanks so much for such a positive experience!

After a busy weekend of intense sports training it was pleasure to just relax in the float and my muscles were significantly less sore from the training than normal thanks to the float. Great clean facility with a nice ambience and attentive staff.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review, we really appreciate you sharing your experience :) We're so pleased to hear you have found floating to alleviate muscle soreness and expedite the recovery process. Floating improves blood circulation and distribution of oxygen and nutrients. The near-weightless environment of floating allows for the muscles and joints of the body to relax, increasing blood flow and helping to more quickly repair muscle tissues and heal the body. We can't wait to see you again after your next training session. Warmly, The Float Space Team

I treated myself to my first float experience at the Float Space in West End. I'd been feeling stressed, not sleeping well, had some muscle and back pain. While I was a bit wary going in, the float ended up totally relaxing me. The ambiance of the space helped too, and there were so many extra little things that made the experience special - aroma therapy lotions, showers, hot tea, coloring books and comfy couches. I can't wait to go back!

My boyfriend took me to the Float Space as a surprise gift so I had no idea what was going to happen. The staff was friendly and informative and I had a very relaxing afternoon. FIrst I had a massage with a heated pad which made me sweat excessively and I wasn't very happy when I found out that it cost my boyfriend 20 $ extra. The massage therapist was good but he tried to keep up a conversation during the whole massage so I didn't really get a chance to relax properly. After the massage I had my first ever float session which was interesting - it took me a while to adjust and the salt water was burning a few places in my body (I didnt realize I had a sore skin) but after a while I was able to relax and I felt amazing afterwards. Overall I would definitely recommend this place.

Hi Melanie, I'm pleased to know we were able to provide an enjoyable float experience for you and I’m really sorry to hear about your massage received, and completely understand your frustration. Our massage therapists are trained to explain to all clients the benefits of the unique BioMat and how it works as it is much more than just a heat pad. I'm sorry if the therapist neglected this or didn’t check in with you on the temperature as it's supposed to be adjusted so that is comfortable while receiving a massage. The BioMat is a unique healing device which combines Far Infrared light, negative ions and amethyst crystals for a deeply healing, detoxing and cell regenerating effect. It assists with pain and stress relief, enhanced blood and lymph circulation, detoxification, improved sleep, energy levels and more. I also apologise that he tried to converse with you during your session, it’s certainly not something we encourage, on the contrary, our therapists are trained to keep this at a minimum and restrict it to conversation pertaining to the treatment unless the client wishes to chat. I'm disappointed we let your, and our, expectations down in this instance. It’s quite unusual feedback to receive about Jin, the massage therapist who treated you, as normally we get amazing feedback about him and many of our clients rebook with him on a regular basis. However, I thank you for your comments, please know we have already taken steps to provide further training for our therapists to avoid this from happening to other clients in future. Every feedback received is much appreciated as it helps us to improve our services, therefore we thank you for your time and your recommendation. Should you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact us directly on info@thefloatspace.com.au. Kind regards Janina
