We’re passionate about using the freshest local ingredients, which brings a unique cutting edge in flavours and style to our menu. ABOUT MOUNT COOT-THA Mt Coot-Tha is a Brisbane icon forming a backdrop for the city and is Brisbane City Council’s largest natural area, located just 15 minutes from the Brisbane CBD. The Mount Coot-Tha reserve contains more than 1600 hectares of open eucalypt forest, rainforest gullies, creek lines, waterfalls and spectacular views; offers a variety of walking tracks (for pedestrian use only), mountain bike trails and some horse riding trails.

Amazing views of the city! We went during the daytime and it was breathe taking. Worthwhile to visit for 1-2 hours. Would recommend.

Great place to take in the views of the city, chill and have a cuppa. Spend as little or a song as you like. Easy free parking and plenty of walking, if you’re so inclined.

What a great view
A must to stop by and see just how big Brisbane is. There is also a cafe open early and a bit of history.

On a clear day, you get a good view over the city and beyond. The display panels badly need attention as some are so weather worn as to be illegible.

Lunch at Summit Cafe
Great views of course. Average food and very pricey. Friendly efficient service. We had a bowl each of mixed salads…a pasta one and a pumpkin and tomato….nothing special but ok. A small sized bowl. I also had a pot of tea and my companion had a small bottle of juice…$37 total seems a bit much. But we sat outside which was very pleasant.

Great sunrise view
Family
It was a wonderful experience watching the sunrise from here. It is beautiful to see the sun come up and spread light. Afterwards we had great time enjoying coffee at the cafe. It was a perfect start to a great day.

Great view of Brisbane city. Has a restaurant as well, expensive though. Best thing is that it's free to check out the view.

Awesome views from the top at night. Visited over Easter, few people there but still easy to find a park and somewhere to sit. Bring a picnic blanket

A great Brisbane overview

A short 20 min drive from the centre of Brisbane will have you arriving at the summit of Mt Cootha. A cafe has drinks and snacks and they are currently renovating the main dining area. There are excellent views from north to south.

Great views of Brisbane and beyond
Mt Coot-tha summit is a great place to take in the views across much of Brisbane and beyond. On a clear day one can see the sand dunes of Moreton Island. Whenever we have visitors to Brisbane, the summit is near the top of our list of places to visit.

At the summit is the Summit Cafe where one can purchase a range of drinks, ice creams and many delicious food items.

On this occasion I drove to the summit, where there is a reasonable amount of parking. As well as a bus route to the summit there are also some great walks leading up here.
