We used this transfer service between Brisbane Airport and Byron Bay on a recent visit to Australia from the UK. We chose this service because it could be booked and paid for online, because it seemed reasonably priced (you do have other choices), and because it offered a connection from Brisbane Domestic Airport soon after our arrival into the airport.
The journey took about 3.5 hours., and departed and arrived on time. I'm not convinced 'express' (as the company describes this service) is entirely accurate; it was express from Brisbane Roma Street to Byron Bay, but there was a good 30 minute lay-over at Brisbane Roma Street, which just added time to the transfer.
The driver was courteous, handled our luggage with care, and drove carefully. The coach, seating about 15 persons (my estimate!), was a bit dated, but the seats were reasonably comfortable and the air conditioning was effective.
Would I use the service again? Most likely, though I would certainly review all options.

It sounds as if you hit some heavy traffic on your journey judging by the 3.5 hour travel time! You are certainly correct about us being express from Brisbane city to Byron Bay. We include the small layover in the city to act as a buffer for traffic between the city and the airport to ensure we depart on schedule.
I certainly hope we do see you again.

I took longer than anticipated getting through the airport and so missed my airport pickup the Thursday before Byron Bay Bluesfest and Easter (aka a very busy time for buses from Brisbane to Byron).
In a stressed fluster I called the company asking if there was any way I could still get to Byron Bay that day. Talia was so great: she'd already booked me on the next bus and didn't even charge me anything extra!
What's more they did a special drop for me on the side of the highway to I could take the turnoff to Mullumbimby.
I was very grateful!! Would highly recommend.

Whilst visiting family we decided to travel to Byron Bay for a few days and didn’t want to hire a car . Apprehensively we booked a return transport with this company , they did not disappoint from the initial phone call to dropping us off back in Brisbane we could not fault . The coat, clean buses, friendly and informative drivers, dropped us off on way in at our accommodation and would have picked us up there if we had wished. So if you are an older couple don’t worry there was a mix of people on the buses they are not just for young backpackers and it certainly took the strain away from driving. Thankyou .

It was a great plasure to travel to Brisbane with Brisbane 2 Byron Express Bus. The bus has great facilities. The seats are comfortable and the bus is equipped with aircondition. The driver was extremely friendly and I felt welcome from the beginning. I would always book Brisbane 2 Byron Express Bus again for another trip. Thank you!

I booked a return trip from Brisbane to Byron a couple of days before I planned to travel. They had full availability, and in fact actually let me change my return time with a phone call and no charge. The drivers I had on both journeys were punctual and very friendly. The trip to Byron arrived slightly early, and the trip back to Brisbane was only ten minutes late despite hitting extremely heavy traffic on the way back into the city. The mini bus was basic, but comfortable, and had air conditioning. Just an easy, pleasant ride with great service.

We are changing our arrival times for our afternoon Byron to Brisbane service. The increasing traffic in Brisbane has made it difficult to maintain our current schedule. We are still offering the same direct service but the arrival time will be 15 minutes later

It is about time I wrote a review for these guys instead of just raving to my friends. I use this bus regularly and have for years now. They are simply one of the best companies I have ever used. Faultless, friendly reliable and alway communicate with passengers to make sure everyone is ok. Such a stark difference from "that other company". I have had to use the others on occasion when B2B have been booked out at very busy times. What a stark difference. The others do a milk run taking sometimes hours longer. Brisbane to Byron actually take two hours. They also have a loyalty card so I get every tenth trip free. They are simply the best. i'm off again tomorrow. Excellent!

Mea(with an E lol..) was a great driver/host. Not only getting to Byron n back safely at a great price and fast, Mea made the extra effort of making sure every passenger felt comfortable when arriving/didnt leave any valuables on the bus/and helped explain where they needing to get too from the bio. drop off point. I highly recommend Brisbane2byron for your travels.

Awesome service, drove me to my door at my place and on the return trip found I had left my passport on board and let me know as soon as they discovered it and returned my passport promptly! All in all, very friendly and efficient means of transport to and from Byron.
