Hidden treasure of queensland. Never miss this jewel as you drive along the motorway. A good escapade even if you have one hour to spare. The serenity of the surrounding is a bliss especially for those working in the city.

The Glasshouse Mountains provide an interesting break in fairly dull scenery on the Bruce Highway and worth getting of the highway and visiting various places to view the mountains. Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve is a good spot looking south to the mountains.

The Mount Tibrogargan circuit walk (around the base of the mountain) is an excellent way to pass an afternoon in nature and a good entry into bushwalking. The 3.3km walk itself is relatively easy, and suitable for most fitness levels. There are a few patches...More
