Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a superb bookstore: an independent gem, full of varied offerings, with knowledgeable and super-helpful friendly staff. "I've just enjoyed this; could you recommend...?" and there was consultation, consideration and two great suggestions, both new authors to me. Perfect! Thank you to all of you.

I love bookshops and hope we never lose them. I especially like this one, which is in a handy location in Darwin mall. It's easy to park nearby, and has very user friendly opening hours. I love wandering through here, find it well displayed and always buy something. The staff are really helpful and friendly.

Wide variety of books with the latest novels, Indigenous literature and children's books. Friendly, helpful and professional staff. Author signings and a newsletter keep the avid reader informed and interested to return.

This is the darlingest bookshop I have been in for some time. This is how bookshops were once, before Borders and before online purchases led us all to betray them. This is not a large shop but it is packed with section upon section of wonderful finds. However do not think that it is a messy or crowded shop. It is a pretty shop with everything carefully arranged. It is also air conditioned and at the end of the shop, in the recipe/food section you can sit at a TABLE so that the books don't get wrecked. You can also sit on the purple poufs dotted throughout the shop and no-one worries you. I pretty much guarantee that you will find something you want. It also has cards, candles, toys and array of gift items. I spent quite a while there while my husband rummaged through nearby stores. That man does love a mall, even the Smith St mall.

I have been coming here for years, and it’s still the best . Really helpful staff- I love it when I describe a book whose name I don’t recall and they always work out what it is and will happily order it in and call when me it’s there.

We stopped at the Mall on Smith street to look for souvenirs and found this delightful independent book store where my husband said had a very good section on Australian military history. The young man also informed us about the various souvenir shops and if we walked to the traffic light then we had gone too far. It was a nice surprise to find such a nice bookstore.

This is a great bookshop and it's wonderful to see them surviving in a world where book shows are disappearing. They will very happily order in books that you want and there's always something extra you just have to buy when you are in there looking for a specific book. It's a nice setting and the staff always helpful and friendly.
