We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Make sure you take the time to read the story about this place on the walls. Just fascinating the NT has so many incredible pioneering yarns. A great collection of boutique style shops with a couple of nice eateries as well. This is now one of my go to places when in Darwin. A lovely space.

The old Star Theatre site is now some little boutique shops and cafes. They close early on weekdays. There is a little bit of signage inside about the old theatre that was destroyed in Cyclone Tracy in 1974. It's tucked away in the mall, I had walked past several times before I even noticed it.

Star Village is a lovely shaded courtyard populated with good cafes and quality shops. It is a great place to relax in the Darwin cbd and I visited several times during my stay.

Hardly a piece of history to be found . Really disappointing. Thankfully it's. It far away and you walk past it anyway. Give it a miss.

There is a lot of history here about early Darwin so if you are visiting or you have friends up here you should visit here. There are some really good shops here as well including a locally famous chocolate shop.

This used to be the cinema back in the day. Stop and read the historical boards as entering, the original metal star that was on top of the building and survived war and cyclone is on display, an interesting photo shows cinema patrons with a hunter enjoying the pics with his rifle propped by him. Nice little shops to check out, eating available. In the middle of the mall.

Another spot I take our visitors. Take the time to read about time gone by, with the original cinema projector on display. Great lil café here with healthy choices, lovely courtyard setting for dining. Other stores include, homemade chocolates, homemade silver jewellery & tropical clothing and a Shoe shop just to name a few that I frequent. oh and a gorgeous antique clothing store is so fascinating.
