A good place for kids but the bowling balls are in terrible shape and need immediate replacement. Very few available too. The pool tables are a mess. Low quality to begin with but covered in rips. Again old, tired balls. A tiny selection of cues all of which are old and mostly damaged. They have a good selection of arcade games and prices are reasonable.

There is so much going on at kingpin! Bowling, laser tag, arcade games, high ropes, food and even a bar. It is possible to lose track of time and slip into the kingpin oblivion. Unfortunately it can be expensive to participate in everything the kids may want to do.
This venue only caters for people driving and despite being close to the residential areas there is an extremely busy road to cross to get there. There is also nowhere to park your bike once you do manage to get there.
The food is nothing spectacular and for the birthday parties is far from nutritious. But the kids love it and enjoy themselves when we do go for the occasional treat!
The venue is large, noisy and reminiscent of a casino for children. If you are easily overwhelmed but sensory overload this is not the place for you.

We took a group of kids to Kingpin over the weekend. We purchased the 3 activities pass and whilst not much value to it when you do the sums, the kids had a great time. Great set up with a fully serviced bar and good food.
The kids loved it.

We paid for the platinum package for our child’s 7th birthday & a bar tab for the adults. We planned it to a tee for timing etc. and we were extremely disappointed with the execution. There was only 1 party attendant instead of at least 2 promised & he was clearly overwhelmed with the 30 kids and several activities. To be fair the young fella did a great job under the circumstances. The food for the kids took 1.5 hrs to arrive after several prompts to the staff. The cake was pretty ordinary and they didn’t even bring plates or candles..Pretty poorly executed overall and for the price I would never do it again… The kids did Enjoy themselves albeit but the party took nearly 4 hrs in total and was shambolic & way more stressful than I had planned considering the amount we paid and planning with management.
Do yourself a favour & have the party at home. I would take my house getting trashed over dealing with this again..

For the money you pay to play ten pin in a group and the size of the place you would think the customer service would be a high standard… not…
Balls kept getting stuck behind pins, no technician onsite to fix. After every round we had to walk to the main counter and tell them our bowling balls were stuck. 5 min later they would fix it. This went on for 3 hrs for 2 games. We were patient but no apologies from staff.
They got the meals wrong after we waited 50min after ordering. More bowling balls stuck during this time.
There was only 5-6 staff members on for approx 200 people who were in Kingpin.
Hygiene was at an all time low, no one regularly picking up dishes, plates, glasses.
Toilets smelt like a horse trough. No sanitising of tables, equipment, balls etc.

Absolutely disgusting service from staff.
Waited over an hour for 3 hot dogs. Brushed off as if we were trash. Paid $165 for 3 ultimate holiday passes. No apology from staff.
I my opinion I will never return and also tell as many people how disappointed our experience was today.
Awfully disappointing as my kids and I were looking to have fun as we have done in the past. Excuses made were not as good as school kids saying the dog ate their homework.

Today I went to king pin with my mother, uncle and my niece and nephew. At first, I tried paying for arcade ganes with a gift card I received at Christmas 2017. The woman in charge called the number on the back of the card to redeem it and later tells me there is no money on it
I informed her it had never been used and it should work. She rudely told me "you can call the number on the back and speak to them" she was very rude!!!
Later in the arcade games, after I had to use my money, one of the machines wasn't worker. I went and asked for assistance and was told "I will get someone to come over to you and help"
15minutes later no one came. Had to go ask again and eventually IT came, Which were nice and helpful.
Then went to sit down so my niece and nephew could eat. All the tables were dirty with bits of food on it or people's leftover drinks. Once we sat down the same woman on charge came over. Removed the stuff of 1 out the 3 tables we were at. Not eve actually cleaning where we were or wiping down the table with a cloth.
As the children were eating there were at least 5 staff behind the counters doing nothing, even though the place was a mess.

Went to kingpin to celebrate a 30th birthday. Made a booking in advance for the laser tag and were severally disappointed when we then had to wait 30 minutes before we could actually have our game. Once it was finally our turn we were then once again disappointed to have to share the game with a bunch of loud children. This was further aggravated by a rude and blunt teenage staff member who failed to handle the situation appropriately.
We then went over to have our 30 minute session on the various games and were then told we could only use the machines with green lights. Another misleading approach to selling their packages.
Walking around there were many games that were either switched off or faulty and we couldn’t use them.
We still had one more activity to use up however we decided to leave early.
Don’t bother taking bookings if you can’t stick to them, fix your machines and don’t mislead with your sale tactics.
Kingpin - pick up your game! Literally!

I had organised my 18th birthday at kingpin with 29 of my friends I paid around 800 dollars for food, lazertag and bowling for all of my friends.
I had planned with kingpin 3 weeks in advance so when I arrived you would think they would be organised. We were told to be there exactly at 7:30 to stay on schedule.
On arrival staff told me they had not been advised that any event was scheduled and myself and 29 others were left stranded they finally went to the back and found my event papers that I had filled out and had to do everything on a busy night to squeeze us in..
We had to wait half an hour before we could even go into lazer tag and when we got there they were not advised by the front desk that we had a booking so we had to wait even longer. At this point I was not enjoying my birthday at all. After lazer tag I returned to the front desk for them to tell me that out bowling lanes were occupied and we had to wait even longer it wasn't until 9pm before our lanes were open and we could start bowling but it stopped being fun and I did not want to deal with it. By the time food came out they placed it all on one lane even after specifically asking to spread it out over that 5 lanes we had.. The whole experience was terrible and honestly ruined my birthday. Had I known how unorganised it would have been I wouldn't have wasted the three weeks it took me to book everything or spent the amount of money i did on a horrible birthday experience.
The staff were not too apologetic either.
Not impressed and will probably never organise anything with them again.

Hi Caitlin - we are so sorry to hear about your experience at our new Kingpin Darwin centre. We hope that you had a chance to speak to your event co-ordinator after your event to discuss your concerns. We always aim to exceed expectations and clearly on this occasion this didn't occur. We do hope that you do allow us to show you a better experience in the near future.

I put $45 on a play card didn't realise this place shuts at 22:00, ask for my money back after playing one game and they wouldn't refund the rest!, A closing in five minute call would be a suggestion the company should make before they rip people off!
