Best of all, this tour is early enough to not suffer from the heat! I would recommend it, it was interesting and informative. I would do a walk with John again if I find myself in Darwin in the future.

John who lead the walk was really good and I felt I got a lot out of it with him pointing out things that we had already walked passed and not seen. I like the details he gave us of the history of Darwin. My deaf friend Faye really appreciated the notes that John brought for her to read so she felt really part of it. I recommend it to any tourist going to Darwin. Unfortunately my photos are on my mobile phone and I cannot put them over to the computer I may be able to get one over to your facebook group. Will try.

We both really enjoyed the wide variety of plants that were on display. Our guide was very knowledgeable and informative.

I enjoyed this walking tour. I missed booking the tour online the previous evening, so I just turned up, hoping there was a space for me and it worked out well. It was a relaxed pace and very informative. The walk is early so the heat is not really a factor. John is a lovely fellow and a good speaker. I would do another of his tours if I return to Darwin.

It almost didn't happen ... John (the boss) was going away on the days that we were going to be in town. But when I rang him "leave it with me", he said. So I did. Luckily, he tracked his old mate Gary down to step in in his absence. Gary has been around Darwin one way or another for some 50 years (with some breaks in between), and knows a lot. We strolled and talked slowly through the centre of town, and learned about the bombing of Darwin on 19 Feb 1942, plus a lot more on top of that. Great experience. Thanks.
